And that, children, is how you tempt the Origin gods.

QLD could do with a big unit in the middle - good team fit too. Consider:

    Horse: liability with Flegler
Hopgood: we've got one already, thanks
Welch: probably will get it, but a backup isn't impossible
    Hess: not good enough
Luki: again, have enough small/fast/strong mid/edge hybrids thanks.
    Easy E? Offa?

Mofo's in good form and could well get the nod.

Anyone going Cleary to Yeo ? Top scorer who only misses 2 games if he backs up.

I really want Yeo for the run home but I don't really want to get him now, would rather wait for R20 and see if he backs up then, if he doesn't then I'd get on in R21

Missing 6 players this week, just 2 on the bye.

Might have to grab Turbo for Fifita and Moses for Cleary this week. At least will be a $150k+ cash difference the next few weeks for each pair.

Leaves me with a crazy $798k on the sidelines in cash.

So weird, Turbo coming off a banner, has a BE of 3, owned by <1% of top 1,000 teams and just $547k.

Massive POD who could easily gain $100k this week.

Horse and Hedwards named at LK.. hopefully stays that way in final teams.

Bird in the reserves would be a trade saving bonus if he plays.

Te Whare still bench with Brenko and Aitken's hammies holding up for now. A late start would be nice.

He could easily gain 100k this week?

Sheesh mate this is taking the whole self trade bias narrative to a whole new level.

His average removing the 100 this year is absolute mud.

Bird in the reserves and BMM named Lock smells awfully like a Birds going to get the spot if he’s fit

C'mon, he got a ton last time he played, 93 should be a walk in the park...

Definitely got the pedigree, but previous 5 round average before the 3 try hundy was 27.

Lots of  teams have 4 WFB with majority owning likes of Ted/Ponga/Bula/Drinky when they got snapped up cheap.

He misses 16 with origin and potentially he doesn’t back up 17 or 20 with his injury history?

Too much risk for me or anyone with dwindling trades

He played well when he needed to make Origin. He needs to play well again. It ain't impossible against the Dolphins

Disappointed tapine isn’t still lock, but enjoying Ricky naming cotric and starling bench should guarantee continued big mins

I'm regretting the Oloapu trade-in. Looks like an eternity of 30s over there. Seeing as he's on the R16 block, I may as well bring that forward a week to go Turbo for 200k more.

Ah, will wait until Thursday beers.

They have shown with the HIA shenanigans and exemption that they are desperate to get him on the field every week, and he didn't look capable of a banner until last round, now he can go out and score well.

Fifita looks like they want to rest him as much as they can over the origin period, going to miss at least 3 of the next few rounds and probably benched, if played at all, going to lose a shit load of cash. Fifita>Turbo looks like a no brainer trade.

Fifita out looks a decent trade, not sure Turbo is the answer

Looking at potential 20-25+ drop in points, reckon you need something more substantial if Fifita goes

    I call BS on that

If they wanted to rest him as much as they could, they wouldn't have bothered playing him at all last weekend.

He has this week off, then Origin 2, then round 17 which is on the Sunday (good) against his old club (good) with no travel required as both Origin 2 and the Titans R17 game are in Brisbane. He will 100% start and probably play at least 60 mins if not the full 80 as long as he doesn't pick up something in Origin 2.

It's almost as good for him after Origin 3 as well, he plays the Sunday in R20 against Parra in Sydney (Origin 3 is also in Sydney), so he has two longer turnarounds after Origin and no extra travel required.

Origin 2 is 18 days after his last club appearance (last weekend when he played 30 minutes), so that should be plenty of rest for him.
