Oh yeah, of course. I was trying to think of a way to see both and then trade Cleary to Moses this week if they both go rubbish.

It's also reasonably tempting to grab Cogger instead of Fainu, and hope for four weeks of playable scores.

Don't think you can loop Ponga/Niko, although I too am an idiot, but assume you're set up to loop Oloapu in if Ponga sucks? Quick turn-around after Broncos v Knights and Panthers playing next.

Edit: I am indeed an idiot. Niko doesn't play for Broncos anymore.

Can I ask how many trades you have left? I am going back and forth with the Burbo/Fainu trade but it puts me down to 6 trades and I am just trying to work out if the cash generation is worth the 2 trades it will likely be to bring Fainu in then cash him out/upgrade later.

Yeah, I had a look at trying to do that for the same reasons but it's a no go (but I can confirm that I'm no looping expert)

Doing the Burbo/Fainu trade as well but didn't think of the Cogger option.....he hasn't got MID dual by any chance?

Same situation as me - looking at Burbo to Fainu, which takes me down to 6. Play a mid short next week if I don't bring him in, but he's my main trade option to Simpkin next week so think I might hold. Keen to know what Simpkin's BE is though, as if he doesn't go up too much next week it might be fine waiting to R18 to get him in.

What would you expect it to be next week. Just a touch above the normal BE for a 220k player. 30 maybe?

Are people still bringing in JFH? I'm shivering in my boots that I've missed something. JFH quite cheap and at least you don't have a guaranteed trade out in Fainu in 2 rounds. Simpkin provides the cash that you would get with Fainu now too.

Mixing up who's playing for which Qld team is gonna burn me at some point. Dolphins still don't really exist in my mind and I think most are Titans with the odd Bronc/Cowboy thrown in like Niko and Hamiso when I check the schedule.

Anyway.. only 1 game in, but Simpkin emerging and KHaas firming might've filled the two cheapie spots I need to get through origin.

Talau to Simpkin next week probably makes the most sense. Oloapu and Hedwards to the Haas brothers for Rd 17 looks a real possibility. Yeo in the picture too, but could depend on the next couple of price changes and who's backing up.

I still Think it’s the right move for bye coverage and Moses is surely miles off origin with the quality there to pick from. Offers bye coverage, not going to overthink this one.

I think Moses out scores niko healthy enough this week to make it worth it

Just did some calcs.

Ballpark Simpkin would have been ~$160k last night. if only we could have bought him for that price

That score probably takes him up to the ~$210k vicinity

Edit, preliminary BE of 12 for next game
(sorry, that was his BE to get from $160k to $161k. To get to $221k next game he'll need around -5 or higher)

Nice indeed I was using 255k in my calcs, so the extra 35k is a bonus if he's still basement price next week.
