Sam Walker has resumed full team training following the successful rehabilitation of an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) sprain.

Would suck if he gets a rest or reduced minutes after origin and still has a bye to come in rd24.

I'm just hoping him coming off was them being super precautious.

Robson is a bit of a candidate for upgrading to the Haas/Fifita/Cleary trifecta I want in round 20, so if he could make a bit of money before then that would be swell

Tapine and Preston are the only two left in my team from round 1, and both are probably on the block in round 20 as well

    Shame he misses rd 19

I picked him up last week as a fill in EDG.

He looks pretty good honestly (NRL wise) and has crossed the line in the past two games. The one this past weekend was disallowed though.
I think there could be a case made.

Who would your hookers be if you upgrade Robson to one of those?

The thing is Boyd will be going for me after rd19 and I would still want another hooker to partner Grant in my team. The only hooker upgrade on Robson is Cook but you wouldn't want to get him until rd21.

Sounds like Crichton's head isn't in the game anyway.

Some pretty wild (and seperate) rumours doing the rounds about Angus and Brandon.

Yeah hopefully but they might continue to be cautious since its a hamstring niggle. We shall see tomorrow.

Anyone looking for a quick trade fix??

I’ve got 5 to share but bugger all coin, take a cheeky bump with this lot.

    Cook
    Jdb, Harris, carrigan
    Hopgood, Fifita
    Hynes, ponga
    Penisini, Timoko
    Bula, Garrick, Walsh

    To’a, Ipap, bateman, bird

    Knik, Granville, hands, Haas

If you’re looking for a spiritual guide on your trade hit, I’m thinking:

    Cook + Granville

    To

    Cogger and Simpkin.

Fairly sure this leaves me about 13 for rd19. And 3 trades to deal with any fuck ups.

Already have Cook and was planning around just blowing trades to cover his late bye or trade him out altogether. You're right though I wouldn't be dumping Robson until 21 as I need him to cover Cook, but I also feel like Cleary is probably a wait until 21 anyway

I would think a niggle would be different to just general tightness, but who knows.

Would have been very careful after Cotters hamstring last season backing up and seeing the same happening to Cleary.

Cogger only likely has this week left. Cleary back R20 or R21

Well and truly missed the boat

Turps had his ribs rattled, but has escaped injury.

    Walker has resumed full training.

    Ethan Butcher out rd 18

Nate Butcher sounds in better shape than crichton (4-6 wks)

Taking about medical updates, heading to the fracture clinic in the morning for another set of scans on my shoulder. Fingers crossed 🤞 that surgery is not necessary

A few sessions in a bacta tank should fix it right?

Interesting, not sure why I thought I’d get 3 weeks out of him.

Might just do Granville Simpkin then. Wait to see what happens next week, use all 4

How likely do we think Nat Butcher is to return in round 20? (I assume not this week).

If he is back then, I can hold him (I will likely also have Walsh out 3+ weeks who would be a higher priority sell).
