After being out Thurs night finally watched the Dragons game- well, the mini, I’m not a masochist. Three thoughts

1. Defence was awful, and not just from the rookies, Hunt with an all-timer toward the end
2. Sloan is the worst regular starter in the NRL but there are glimpses of his raw talent where I’d love if the Dragons had the depth to stash him in reserve grade for two years and see what happens.
3. Do you think ScoMo ever goes to Sharks games these days?

I think so Milchy, an extra man in 2 rounds is worth it andjust brings a cash out earlier than expected

I think the general strategy is to trade players out in their bye to get max total points

Eg Lemuelu out in R21

Otherwise injury/suspension probably dictates your trade out

I recall reading that he's been to two games since he was ousted which is honestly more than I thought he would.
He might go back to supporting Manly or whoever it was he pretended to back before he switched to the Sharks.

Was a big rugby fan before being transplanted to the Shire to win a federal seat and deciding swinging a scarf round his head like a deadshit at footy games was a vote winner.

Anyway its refreshing to see shots of excited kids in the crowd, maybe at their first game becoming lifelong fans, rather than constant crowd shots of the PM

I'd make the trade too. Sami was the other CTR I looked at who could fill WFB next week. Probably don't want to pay cash to play CTR roulette with Penis, Sami and Lemu going forward though, unless trading Lemu after next week.

Kris should be worth 50 minimum and 60-70 not unreasonable. Dragons next week too.. I thought he looked kinda battered last week, so gave me some pause if he's over the injuries. The Rd 20 bye is mostly what ruled him out for me though.

Perfect winter afternoon here in Canberra - coldish but clear, light breeze, sun out, dry underfoot.

Could be a high-scoring game, like the 44-6 a couple of years back.

Should be a cracker either way; damn shame I'm at yet another kids birthday.
