Surprised no one has mentioned RCG as a budget player

I did look but personally a bit off by lack of minutes since injury return plus the R27 bye since I hold three Eels already

Similar price range MIDs I considered - Leota, JWH

I need a mid "cashout" for numbers this week and think I've settled on RFM and backing him to play bigger minutes coming back from illness. 425 on the high side but I think he's capable of 40+ average and could be a relevant 17th man.

Big RFM fan. Didn’t realise he was so cheap, and DPP. Ponder I shall

Probably play 16 this week, leaving just 6 trades to ride out the season. Will have to do without some of the heavyweights.

As a fellow non water drinker, I think you’re better off saving 150-200k getting an alternative keeper WFB than buying Drinkwater at 779k

Does little Matto have that position on merit ? That manly bench looks to be a committee meeting at times eg Burbo, Condon, Lawton

He trained last Thursday but didn't get through it. NRL Physio said "Not a surprise considering the nature of Sam Walker’s injury (ACL sprain). Plenty of stop-start progress with rehab is pretty typical"

Warming up to the idea of trading Haas out to Tino or Yeo

See what carnage there is tonight though

Elliot being talked about at 495k is ok until you realise Crossland is 503k and will probably score better

At the other end, looking at:
Garlick 228k - not sure I want to invest in the guy battling with Wishart for 17th man duties when Storm are full strength
Luke 243k - don’t mind the upside here tbh
    H Graham 269k - might just be 1 game
    W Graham 284k - good for 20 in 30
Croker 328k - looks safe for a bench spot, worst case seems 25 avg. plays 1st game this week. Maybe a bit expensive for cashout purposes.
Leniu 382k - always on the menu
I’ve had Elliott for several weeks now. He’s a painful watch as an owner.
He rushes up to put on a hit and gets plenty of negatives.
Last game he looked great, 39 in 31 minutes, then he got a spell and never came back on.
If I didn’t need his MID for this week he was gone.

Yeah so am I. It would make this weeks trades a lot easier.

I prefer Yeo's consistency. Tino seems to rely on tries for his bigger scores and minutes up and down at times. Seems like more of a suspension risk too.

RFM only averaging 36 at lock this year and not priced much under that.
If Max King's minutes are going up, I doubt RFMs are too.

Not sure I see the value especially when he's in a team that still has a bye to come.

For those foregoing Cleary (assuming he plays) - what score threshold are you happy missing out on?

    50? 60?
