Poor planning has resulted in me having JDB/Hors/Haas/Liddle/Walsh/Tatola all sidelined this week and struggling to field 17 without doing 4 trades.

Originally I was looking at just going cheap and moving a few of my benchies to suitable green dots. But The more I think about it, the more I think Haas and Walsh are surplus to requirements. Looking at their run home, after this week they have bunnies/chooks/cows/eels all desperate to make the 8. Can’t see any floggings on the horizons where I feel Reece would shine

As for Haas, it’s shithouse not owning him when he goes full terminator mode, but are we even sure he’s back next week? Obviously misses 25 too

At this stage, pending any carnage tonight I’m thinking I ride the Panthers home and do some version of this:

    This week

Tatola > M king (like for like, higher upside + need mid numbers to field 17)
Liddle > H Graham (The enabler for the Cleary play)
Walsh > Dedwards (prefer this to Garrick - 2 very favourable fixtures coming up)
    Haas > Yeo

    Next week:

    S Smith > Cleary

Any glaring blunders in my thinking here? Currently $42k bank, 9 trades left

Just realised I have no beers in the house and because it’s school holidays and 1&2 turned 10 today they’re all staying up. So this game could be an ordeal, aside from the normal trials of seeing NSW try to play good footy.

No interest in Nutcher with his 55 average on the edge in 2023 and Crangus, Sitili indefinitely injured?

Did have a look at him, doesn't really fit my plans but for anyone that needs a mid cheaper than Yeo I think he's a nice option.

Yeo is so consistent its ridiculous. He has spent the entire season within 45k of his starting price.

You're planning is okay, and this could work out well. Just not sure I'd want to part with Haas. Last week was probably the best time to trade him out for maximum advantage. But he should be good to go next week, why would you sell?

Have Channel Nine got an in house bet as to how many times they can say 'make a statement'? Fuck I hate having to watch League 4 times year on FTA.

Nsw won’t win til they find a pack to contest with tino, cotter, carrigan, Collins, mofo and horsbruh, and tbh it’s impossible with the selections they keep choosing

Remember 6 weeks ago when the nsw pack competed with them just fine? You’d think qld were $1.01 and -60 at the line the way people are talking.

I already have Nat and he's a perfectly fine guy to have, but not really a must.

That dual is very handy though

If Enter Sandman can't fire the Blues up, nothing will.
I still think it will be a Qld 3-0 series, but geez I want to see the Blues players unleash hell on them.

Shits me to tears that. You've got a young bloke on debut, and you can't even be bothered to do your one job and learn how to pronounce his name? So disrespectful.

At least Fittler has moved to referring to the team as "we" instead of "they"
