Ahh bugger it I’m gonna throw the Hail Mary and flip Isaako for Edwards and hope for a big one against the doggies. I’ve got the trades so may as well use em

I think Bula showed last week there are definitely risks with trading out fit players just for scoring 1 or 2 scores below their average
Tohu only has 2 scores under 50 in his last 9 games, and Egan played 80 minutes in a few of those

Partly it also depends who you are trading him to. There's no guarantees Murray outscores Tohu, or outscores him by enough to justify the trade.
If someone gets injured this week, can just trade Murray in for them next week - his current price is cheaper than just about all my starting 17, so unless he goes massive or someone gets a 0, should still be able to afford it next week, and the flexibility might be worth more then spending the trade this week.
If you could guarantee no  injuries for the next 7 weeks, I'd make all my marginal upgrades now and coast home, but we all know that's unlikely.

I decided about a month ago that  Murray would be a good trade in, and now I get the feeling that I want to trade because that's what i though a month ago, rather than because that is what is still best for my team.

Yeah, wise words. Was planning on Tohu to Murray this week but it can wait a week. Main catalyst was that I have three Warriors rather than a diehard belief that Murray kills it from here.

It's not tied up to any of my other trades this week so I think it can wait to see what shakes out this round.

Yeah I`m doing the exact same thing.

Wait a week to see if it`s worth the trade and see what else on my team goes wrong,

Play Kris or trade NAS/Matto out for a Holmes/Tago?

This is a plan B, but which do you like more over the remainder of season:

    Lemu (Kiraz this week)
    Haas
    Hopgood
(18th man is currently NAS to cover those last two in byes, although Hops might be a trade)

    Drinkwater (Kris/Kiraz on bye)
    Matto
    Murray
(18th man again NAS for last two bye coverage. Again Matto and/or Murray could be a trade)

I reckon its pretty even, but it's been apparent I've got some slight different valuations on certain players, so interested in the wisdom of the crowd.

Is one of those player groups clearly better than the other in your opinion? Thanks in advance!

Presumably you have a CTR on bye so you can just see what Kris scores and then make decision

And then I guess ask if your CTR in 21 will somehow come in ahead of your CTR higher in the bench Laughing

Trade NAS for Holmes. Then trade Matto to Tago.

I think the first one is quite a bit better than the second.

    Cheers everyone

Relooking at it I guess the upgrade of Haas over Matto is more certain than the upgrade of Drink over Lemu, given volatility/streakiness of backs scoring. Think Hopgood vs Murray is a wash

So that locks in Plan B

Plan A is Kris scores well enough that I get Cleary in one trade and reassess the MID upgrades next week

Someone had said yesterday that Sami was out injured this week, but he was just named in the cut to 19.

Hope it works out for you, but fair warning Edwards has been incredibly frustrating to own lately. Hopefully Cleary back helps.

I do think Drink is the option over Lemu though. The Dolphin's season is pretty much done (I'm a supporter) unless some miracles happen. Word is JMK will get surgery ASAP pendent on results. Meaning HGraham will play out the season. And I wouldn't be surprised to see some rookies get game time off the bench which probably impacts Lemu.

As for cows - they're building momentum and that means Drinky is lighting it up. If you can afford him, I'd be getting him.
