I think buying him for the current price is madness truthfully.  But then, I didn't own Turbo in 2021.  This could be a similar situation I guess.

Don't get me wrong, he's a high price and he should only be bought if you've got the money and the trades to do so. If he bangs out a few 60s and 40s then he's probably going to average higher than any other WFB for the run home.

Not sure I'm writing the Dolphins off just yet. 4 points outside the 8 (when do the points for the bye get added?), and still games against the Knights, Cowboys, and Roosters who they've already beaten this seasons - should hold no fear - plus the Dogs and Tigers who are both obviously very beatable. Only the Warriors in the final round looms as an intimidating game. Reasonable chance to go say 4/6 with that draw and hope a few other results go your way. Wouldn't say it's likely, but certainly possible.

As a supporter I'm still hopefully. But we seem a bit flat and our backline is struggling.

So Booze in rank #1 has $91k profit per trade made. Makes the $150k trade value seem way over done

Definitely interesting to look at. Didn’t do so in depth, just picked teams at random to see the numbers. Sure I noticed a $93K and a $95K profit during my perusing.

Obviously, checked mine out, as well, and was expecting mine to be lower than what I saw, based upon all the silly trades I’ve been doing.

Looks like almost everyone that has bought Cleary have captained him. Most haven't bought Cleary this week.

Just the actual trades, in the linked example 3,752,000 / 41 = 91.5k.

The language is confusing though, I'll have a think about it.

No a big drama, just asking in regards to the parallel conversation of 91k vs 150k per trade. I'd guess the unrealised trades pushes the 91k up.

Yeah I'm at 96k, but Boozes overall squad value is way higher than mine

FWIW the Drink vs Lemu part of the equation is a hold. One needs to be sold for Cleary, the other stays.

Barnett starting over Bunty. No other changes to either Warriors or Raiders since yesterday.

I think I'm going to sell Tohu

Afoa & Walker both on the bench for Warriors

Walker always comes on first half (Perhaps will be for Tohu tonight?) - Barnett will get subbed perhaps for Bunty

There's no way we only use 1 interchange first half and AFB normally plays the first 40

Somtimes Barnett will get shifted to the 2nd row, but I don't think that's happening tonight

It's more the players he's still holding have gained way more value than the ones I'm still holding? I'm possibly thinking about it backwards

But I think it's important - the 150k is not just about players you trade out, its about ones you hold

I don't know if I missed this discussion earlier in the season, but wasn't the $150k value calculated back when we had fewer trades? So with more trades this year it should be a bit less?

The $150k value was arrived at by "ideal final team value" minus "starting team value" divided by number of trades (with some allowance for injuries/sideways trading)

Can change based on what the salary cap is, and number of trades available - with this year in particular a lot of trades were spent sideways trading for byes rather than making money.

Also doesn't account for "unrealised profits" eg trading Drinkwater in at sub $600k and he's now worth $800
