Re: Fpl 23/24
Gone from 30 point lead to 5 point deficit. Still quite a few differences to WT2K
Had a good season overall but so annoyed with results since WC31 when I was set on FH34 but backflipped

Then late it’s been going good but lost about 30pts in two decisions even when climbing ranks. Shows how crazy the variance is in it though
Pulled 6th back !

I was trying to reconcile FPL name with NRLFF name. Good luck.
Don’t think I’ve ever won a cup in any league before.

I've been playing this for about 20 years and I found out there was a cup for each league yesterday
In some other news I'm in the final of the cup and winning the league of the comp I accidently entered when I fucked up the code for the fanatics

Yeah I don’t pay a lot of attention to the cups but I do know the year I came 25th in the entire world I still could win one! I think I got eliminated from a couple by dead teams this year

He’s clutched it in the end with the help of some dodgy Newcastle leaks and some drunk Villa players

Re: Fpl 23/24
1pt! Congrats
Wait for scores to update but think I’ve charged to 5th or 6th from 16th over the last 5-6 GWs. Plus won the Cup! Unlucky for the runner-up, who made the correct decisions to bench Wood and Dalot only to see Muniz play 1 minute to cockblock Wood 13ptr

Re: Fpl 23/24
Was 5 in the end but it was decided this week. I was actually set on Gvardiol or taking -4 for both him and Porro to block all week but changed to just Porro which was the difference
And the other benching Isak, Onana and taking -4

Nice Camo!
I faded hard from GW33 onwards where I was 50k and ended up 150k. Went for some differential punts the last few weeks to try and get in the money in my cash league but didn't go so well.
9 people inside the top 100k in the FF league is pretty quality.

That was a long season . I need to learn to stop taking hits
Congrats to the winner!
League will be regenerated as soon as next season opens.

Re: Fpl 23/24
.
Started GW38 at 22k, but finished at 29k.
Heard a late (incorrect) rumour that Isaak (14) was out, so I benched him in favour of Jackson (2). Those 12 points cost me a spot in the top 20k, but I'm happy with finishing in the top 30k.

Re: Fpl 23/24
Has anyone played Euro Fantasy?
My SC team is beyond redemption, so I thought Euro might be fun, however I know nothing!
How hard is it? Does time difference make it impossible? I see that people change their C, so that suggests a difficulty.
Thoughts?

if you've played champions league fantasy it's exactly the same:
the round is called a match day....every day within the md you can sub in players manually & change captaincy e.g. germany play scotland in the first game on the 1st day & say you havertz (c) & you have a defender...if havertz bombs you can take off the captaincy & put it someone in day 2 & so on so it pays to have a viable captain option on each day of the md. now say the german defender doesn't keep a cs you can manually sub in another defender who is on your bench. you could also manually sub havertz too if he scores low. there is the capability to get a.e. subs the same as in fpl but you have to make no manual subs for the a.e. to kick in. there a few other differences like for e.g. goals scored outside the box the scorer gets an additional 1 point, if you dribble your way into the box & get fouled you don't get the assist for the penalty. there is no bonus points like in fpl instead the motm gets 3 points.
there are 2 chips - (1) a wc chip exactly the same as fpl (2) unlimited chip it's like a fh as your team the next md reverts back to your team before you used it but it is a chip where you can pick any player regardless of the budget so you can exceed the salary cap so it's a chip where you could put in all the elite high cost players in & be over budget
i forgot to add that defensive mids like rodri are an option because they give points for "ball recoveries" every 3 br you get a point so interceptions, tackles where you win possession of the ball.
