Like if this happened mid season I’d have all these beautiful mind scenarios on how to best use 4 trades factoring in comeback times, byes, rep selections, future trades etc

At this point it’s just Hopgood to anyone and hope for the best

Still I've never one a fanatics league before, so to win L1 is pretty special.  It's hard enough to get into the league let alone win the thing against such a top quality field.  Thanks for the season,  especially BCT05, bad luck mate,  indeed Koula mvp I got lucky there.

Now to hold off the mob in fantasy fantasy Very Happy

Yes, it's the old patented 'one red dot trade to the best player who is actually playing' move. Keep it secret...

I shit on JDB and cast aspersions too, but I didn't go that far. Pretty fucked up comments to make, then backflip on and proceed to jerk him off.

Trade Hopgood to someone who is a late scratching 1 hour from kickoff.

    Job done.

~IF Manu suits up, IF Horsbrah beats the charge, and SJ isn't rested, at this stage i should/would have 16.

Hopgood, Grant, Ponga, Hands definite outs. Skelton probably out too, but wouldn't actually be playable.

But there is plenty of time for more carnage.

Grant a definite out? Thought that one was just speculation?

MoFo only missed the game on the weekend for the birth of his kid, right? Hopefully he's back this week...

Nah, not definite. Just making assumption he won't play.

But maybe with Papy only just back from injury, they will try get Grant on the field to build the combo's back up, especially as Hughes is definitely out.

With top 4 sewn up, I don't really see the need to risk Grant. Only thing on the line is finishing 3rd or 4th for the Storm, and that's largely out of their control anyway as they'd need the Warriors to lose to the Dolphins.

Arguably, finishing 4th and likely playing the Broncos, who the Storm have an excellent record against, is better than finishing 3rd and playing the Panthers anyway.

    Looking at this pre trades
Probably will be trading out Hughes + Ponga so will have ~1.6 mil to spend on 2 one week punts

    Koroisau
    Tapine, Cotter, Murray
    Ipap, Fifita
    Cleary* (c), Hynes* (VC)
    Null, Talakai
    Brimson, Suaalii, Teddy*

    DCE, SJ, Cook, Graham

Hoping not to need to trade in a centre or WFB

Broncos probably missing Reynolds and Carrigan, plus Staggs suspended.

Maybe both teams have a handshake agreement after 10 mins, Broncos up 6 nil, to call full time, see ya same time next week.

Yeah pretty BS for you re Ramien, I know it's probably only 6-8pts or something but they all count right and were so obvious. Maybe he gets them later today.

I didn't even get to watch the Manly game but sheesh Koula must've played really well with 312 run metres.

Yeah he was on fire, he's so fast. Played FB so plenty of kick returns, and made a couple of big breaks.
