Points of contention for me atm

    HKR

Not sold on Cheese as first string hooker or either of the Eels as second string but all of the other non Grant options (with the possible exception of Api who doesn't play & Cook who locks in) don't do it for me.

Leaning towards running with Grant and Lussick, mainly so I can have a look at Cheese and pick him up in a couple of rounds if he's tracking ok. If Cheese goes alright he can come in for whichever mid range plodder shits the bed. That would be good if my Eels expectations prove to be correct.

    Second Half

Had the Fog but tbh don't want to carry him if he's carrying something else (I know Ricky said blah blah, but Ricky) so I'm wavering between swapping him out for someone like Smithies, because we all love something new and shiny who hasn't shattered our dreams, or holding firm. If it's the former then Hutch comes off the bench and I have to make sure I have a third half on the pine.

I'm pretty settled on everything else pending TLT part 2.

Managed to shoehorn Turbo into WFB for a bit of spice and most of the rest are cookie cutter.

Not massive on throwing up whole draft teams mainly because I don't want anyone introducing logic to throw shade on my bad R1 decisions.

I am still back of the mind considering Carrigan as someone who can step up again this season.

I can dream of a few more 80 min games in his future bumping his output to 60+.

I sort of think Piakura wont be an 80 min player and carrigan will cover those extra mins.

Flegler has also pissed off and i dont think the guys below him automatically step into those shoes. Jensen always seems to be a standout in pre season and rhen fade. Hetho is reliable, but baker and willison are very much low min guys i think??

Disclaimer this is all just wishful thinking and i dont expect it to happen.

Making irrelevant discussion that isnt X vs Y player here.. is there anything else to consider (for those of us who love to over think this game) for the vegas weekend, other than field dimensions?

The weather is tipped to reach a high of 15c on sunday so the big fellas shouldnt blow out too much. Does altitude play a part in at all ?

The other issue is that Gagai is only playing because Thompson apparently couldn’t get a visa!

Had a great year last year, full of attacking stats for fantasy, yet only averaged 33. Unless he starts kicking more in general play and missing less tackles (which both seem kinda unlikely), he likely doesn’t improve enough fantasy-wise. Gun player though goes without saying.

Can't say I see the appeal, he's a non dominant half and he isn't exactly base price

I don’t get the Mam love (not that there’s anything wrong with that) it’s not like he’s playing a GF against Penrith every week!

Successfully talked out of Mam. Straight in my team when Reyno perished. Wish Sam Walker wasn't so expensive.
