I am the biggest mid-wit I've ever encountered. Even my year 12 chem class laughed at me for not having Haas and only 1 plays NRL fantasy. For clarification, I was taking the piss, but it was a brief insight into the mind of a Haasless loser.
I've just updated my tracker for those interested. Appreciate any insight, making a split TLT team is stressful.

I'm currently trying to follow Rob's 777 rule. 7 keepers, 7 mid rangers and 7 cows. Admittedly it involves counting Brandon Smith and Fogarty as keepers, but if both can average around 50 then they'll likely hang around long enough to be considered keepers.
If I squint and stand really far away I've got seven keepers....maybe

He probably will get a bench spot. At first. He played 5/8 in the trials. He's been a 5/8 through HM's and juniors at Wenty plus winning the Schoolboys champs last year with Westfields high. He had little stint at centre to accommodate the other triallists. Didn't play "4 positions". Don't believe everything on club forums. They also said he was small.
I should rephrase the 'he was dominant" to "he was the dominant half at times". I watched the trials and video saved them.
I can tell you one thing for sure though. He won't play hooker. Back row at some point maybe. Centre maybe. But Benji has him there as a 5/8th.
Benji Marshall on Lachie Galvin after the 2nd trial:
"He was a positive out of tonight, to be honest, just come out of school 18 years old and put him in four different positions tonight and each one of them he didn't look out of place, so he's got a bright future and he was really good tonight"

I read that as 'he's not playing regular, if any, first grade this season'

Smithies is walking Judiciary hearing and after round 4 will be irellevant bench material
Luki now has free reign to play 80 in the backrow and averages big scores when he plays more than 60 minutes
pretty easy pick for me

Expect he has lots of competition for the 14 jersey in Tallyn and Simpkin

Word.
It’s my problem, not the NRL’s, but this layout is giving me ungodly amounts of time to second guess every single thing I do with my team. Also way too much time to overanalyse what happened on Sunday and how/if my plans this week should be influenced heavily by that.
It’s a proper mindfuck and I hope I take something valuable out of it this year that I can use for the next four years to ease the experience for me. That will, of course, not happen.
If I could make one all encompassing wish for the future it’d be that all teams are named on that first Tuesday. But that will, of course, not happen.

Yeah Cleary will known as The Punchinner after this weekend. All those limp-dick Haas captainers with the "oh, oh, oh, what if Cleary gets injured at training?! ". Give me a fucking break. Go back to your bomb shelters and canned food.

Losing 1 point for the insurance policy of not having a mil of the cap tied up if he got injured this week isn't a bad deal.
