Potentially being without Sitili and Piakura next week is certainly a concern. Perhaps banking some coin now is smart but saying that looking at prices, you'd need a good whack to potentially make it worth while.

Grant
Sitili, Haas (c), Hopgood
Wong, Piakura
Cleary, Hutchison
Strange, Burbo
Drinkwater, Pappy, Tuaupiki
Flanagan, Levi, Kini, Smithies
Hughes, Bostock, Salmon, Chan
$192k ITB
Plans for the unlikely chance that Hutch, Kini, and Tuaupiki are all out round 4. Bench could be hit or miss when running both Haas and Hopgood. Drinky definitely a pod option to the usual suspects.

Just checking in. @EasyTiger said: From last thread.
Benji Marshall on Lachie Galvin after the 2nd trial:
"He was a positive out of tonight, to be honest, just come out of school 18 years old and put him in four different positions tonight and each one of them he didn't look out of place, so he's got a bright future and he was really good tonight"
I just watched the trial again. He played 40 minutes. I saw him 5/8th left, then what appeared to be 2nd receiver on the right couple of times, which I figured was still 5/8 on the right, so maybe considered halfback, left centre for a few minutes. He never defended in the middle or on any dedicated edge, never dummy half but made a couple of nice tackles at 5/8. If that's 4 positions, fair enough. lol.
He's a good player and soon your halves will be Fainu 7, Galvin 6. He looks like a 13 down the track. Big future.

I feel like no matter how you go about it this year you end up spending $2m on 3 halves. If you have Cleary and Hynes you need Flano, if you go Cleary and Fog you pick Flano or Hutch. If you go Cleary and Hutch you get Flano. SOS is interesting but an awkward price.
I don't know why, gut pick, but I just like the look of SOS. The boy's got a good gib about him.
He was busted last year, or coming back from an injury. Great JS, dominant half in an improved team.
I dunno, I just feel like it will be a fun ride.
So, the mighty Chin & SOS are my starting halves with Hutcho on the bench.
I just can't pick Flanno - and he'll probably do a Carty-Party on me and gun it at the Dragons because you know, dad has his back and all.

Probably because Rapana needs as many reps as possible.
Apart from Rapana saying he's been thrown into fallback a few times in his career, does anyone that matters say be js the fb and Kris is a Centre again?
Only then do I see upside. Kris savage hopa in the trial and ci
Cotric all have played there before

A bit like not picking KBrom because Bellamy has him holding place for Stimson.

I just revised my team to give me $168k spare. A decent score from Levi and I probably do it.

How long do we think Rapana holds WFB?
Also if Tuapiki only gets 3 weeks and avg high 30’s that’s 40-45k in 3 weeks probs not enough?
Is a rumour going around CNK has a nerve issue as well along with the hammy and he might be back a bit later than round 4. Not sure if the rumour is true or not

Rapana was saying last season he wasn't fit enough to play fullback.
This season he is saying he is the fittest that he has ever been and is ready to play fullback.

i've gone with rapana & chan but considering luki & cotric instead
I like it, because it's similar to mine I suppose. Grant, Fog, Kris, Hutch vs Cook, Moses, Kiraz, Cotric.

Sweet, thanks g.
In that case he looks like a 50pt scorer
