Should have seen this result coming. Ricky knows how to build a chip-on-your-shoulder culture. All of the pre-season reporting on Raiders weak line-up and playing Newcastle first up after the 2023 finals loss. Well down Raiders. Played simple hard footy. Knights need to stop trying to score every set and earn the right to play fancy footy. The wins will come, but this was a good wake-up call.

Smithies has been really good but I don't see how he gets these minutes when Hors back, and he needs minutes because it's all defence. Tap and Pap still their main weapons.

Think he was just cramping up a bit .it's hitting a few players at the moment .

If he knew coming in he was getting 70+ minutes, may be pacing himself.

He's touching the ball a lot in attack, but just catch and pass without taking the line on. Not great for Fantasy ,but potential is there to get some TA/LBA
