Im just hoping more than anything mate that Laremy falls, Tunsil is the smart pick but can't go wrong with Ramsey and I think Buckner is going to be a beast at the top level top sure if top 3 worthy though! I'm ultimately hoping that we trade down to around 10 and manage to grab someone like Staley and pick up another high secondryno_ wrote:
Fair point - and with the Browns @ 2, youve hardly got the best run franchises in front. They are just as likely to take a punter. I just cant see any team with #1 pick not going for Tunsil.
It wouldnt surprise me to see CLE take Ramsey though. Theyve released their best DB and will be able to get a decent option for QB at the start of the second with pick #33. Just depends on how much they believe in RG3.

Oh Wowsers that trade has just changed the entire landscape at the top of the draft, surely we get our no.1 pick at the top of our big board now! Tunsil come on down

Changes things a bit.
You have to think QB1 and QB2 go first, Goff/Wentz in either order. I dont think either of them are worth the kings ransom that LA paid, but hell. Theyve had private workouts with both of them so they must have seen something.

Another avenue it opens for us (chargers) is a mad scramble to gain the No.1 player on most other teams big boards if the Rams and Browns go QB-QB
Starting to really want Myles Jack but he might not be the biggest need with Perryman looking the dogs bollocks near the seasons end, although Jack doesn't have the same frame he looks like Patrick Willis in his first 3 years and could form an insane LB partnership for the next 10 years
we should sort a draft game closer to the draft predict the first 15 picks or so.

Wowsers another pre draft trade, Philly moving up to second presumably to take whichever QB The Rams don't...Leaving us to pick the best player in the draft...would still like a trade down to accumulate some other picks

You could trade down to 6 or so and still end up with a fucking good player. Theres a bit of a drop off after the first 5 non-QBs though, I wouldnt want to drop too far when players like Tunsil, Jack, Ramsey are potentially available.
Wouldnt surprise me if Philly take Tunsil though. Bradford has been good the last season, freshly signed a new contract and does have a history of needing protection.

Everything I read says it a weak draft for QB's yet these guys are killing their drafts to get their hands on them?

Wouldn't want to go much further than SF at 7, grab their 1st next year and a 3rd this year, not sure what that amounts to on the trade value chart and grab Staley, in an ideal world teams pass on Jack because of his knee and we scoop him up

Its a weak class in general. Next year is going to be much stronger. Watson and Adams would both be in the conversation for #1 pick ahead of this years crop... maybe Kelly aswell. And there are a few kids whose college preseason will be cut short by the Olympics, so they are more athletic across the board aswell.
I dont understand the amount of trades LA and Philly gave up to get picks that arent going to be that great.

Re: NFL 2017
End of the day you just can't always predict the outcome of a QB in the pro's with so many factors, franchise strength, lifestyle etc I like the look of Wentz he is big and has a big arm, if he can develop the touch throw he will be a weapon! Reminds me of Matty Ice, so along as he can play outside he should have a decent career! Both prospects are landing in decent spots as well, Wentz for Rams because the Cali kid Goff could be more of a distraction with the bright lights of LAryno_ wrote:

Re: NFL 2017
@Ryno_ who are you hoping for at the back end of the round mate? Haven't rally looked too far outside of the top 15 prospects this year with us drafting so high

I did a mock draft and ended up giving us Paxton Lynch but if we dont go QB (hopefully we dont) I think we'll pick Ridgeway, Bullard or Raven Clark. Maybe Butler, he's ranked pretty highly but I can see him falling.
But I hope we trade down out of the first. Last pick is actually a good place to be in, with the compulsory team option for a 5th year given to first round draft picks, if youre in last, that is a bit of extra incentive for a team to trade up. Vikes did it to get Bridgewater 3 years back. They probably would have gotten him in the 2nd round anyways but traded up to get him in the first so they have a 5th year option on him. Smart move.

If the Chargers can please take Tunsil, Cowboys take Bosa, Jaguars take Jack, so the Ravens can have Ramsey, that'd be awesome please & thanks.

Re: NFL 2017
Elliot is going to have a massive rookie year behind that OL in Dallas.
Never thought Ramsey + Tunsil + Jack + Buckner would be still on the board at 5th though.
