One of Ponga's games without Hastings last year that I could easily find was round 25 with Clune at halfback.
Ponga had 37 touches in that game, 2 less than last night

I'm not in category A. I think there is an area between a and b and that's where I exist. I watch what I say, but I'm not particulary bothered if people slip up from time to time. Intention matters.
Do people "slip up" and say things they don't really mean though? I've never "accidentally" said anything racist. But maybe that's just me. I personally believe that anything people say "accidentally", usually when they're boozed is something they mean deep down

Piakura Wong

Btrbo Strange
Teddy Trbo Ponga
Papy Rapana Kini Chan
Levi Cotric Galvin SHughes
Had Hutch at halfback with plans to use injuries/Kini/Rapana as rentals for the week
Another sensible thing would be to downgrade to moses + 200k and turn perhaps Kini into May next week
The potential is massive for this to go tits up but sometimes you have to bet on red a 10th time
But will probably hold and roll with this for fun
Should change the team name to Fullbacks. You are expecting a significant points bump with the new rules?

Yeah, if you get kini it's because you're expecting him to score well and rise in price. So you should play him.

I had Taine as well but ran out of cash
Just wanted to see how it looked with them, somehow slotted in Hynes and just left it
To be honest I found it hard to leave some players out so I simply didnt haha

I'm playing Salmon and Jackie, but thought about playing Flanno over the latter. Not sure if Jackie gets subbed or carved up by Panthers, or both.. Expecting Dragons and Titans to be more high scoring, but whether that translates into fantasy points for Flanno is probably wishful thinking. I'll just be happy with 35s.

Does anyone else have a wife/partner who plays Fantasy?
Mine does, my main objective this season is first and foremost not to finish behind her.
Yep mine does and is better than me more often than not. She lurks the forum here and is in one of the h2h leagues - BigNinesFan.

out of all the elite fb's on show in round 1 latrell leads the way comfortably he's 27 points ahead of 2nd turbo...all the elite fb's have played imo i don't consider pappy, edwards or drinkwater elite fb's

TU: Tohu + Galvin (npr - means Chan/Strange is 17th man) + $67k
TD: Luki + Flanno (dont have to play Chan) + $186k to fix mistakes next week
could be a bit silly missing both Cotter and Luki, but I like Luki's potential

For individual players? I bet we see lots of mispricing that is easy to spot
Just looking at it now.
The scoring system is
4 - per point scored 10 - per try assist 1 - per 10 run metres (rounded down to nearest 10) 5 - per linebreak 1 - per tackle Settled on NRL.com statistics.
The line is at 71.5 for Cleary - so without kick metres or a lot of attacking stats, seems very high at first glance, then again I guess we don't score per point scored.
Cleary averages 0.9 try assists a game last year so say 1 - that's 10 points.
128 running metres a game - so 12 points there.
0.3 line breaks a game - so nothing there.
18 tackles a game - so that's 18 points.
Adds up to 40 points.
At 4 points per point scored he needs to score 8 points to get the 32 points needed to get over.
averages 4 goals a game so that's 8 right there, hitting the 72 mark exactly.
So it seems like they've priced it from last season's stats just on averages, at least for Cleary.

Both teams still 1-17 for eels vs bulldogs at the 24hr mark, altho of interest, Connor Tracey has survived the cut in reserves.

No changes to the 17 for Eels and Dogs cut. Connor Tracey still in reserves, there's hope for a Taaffe-less weekend still.
