For the integrity of the comp yeah. Unless they can somehow amend the changes made that were after the kickoff of Eels game but that could be a hard task

Nah, I figured it out Fanhub saw Blake Taaffe in a team and set them as a NSW Cup so the lockout doesn't apply to them.

They just need to reverse all trades involving Eels/Bulldogs players after kick off right? Surely they have that data.

You can’t in case it’s a flow on effect for cash if they brought in players from this game or tomorrows game

Pretty sure something similar happened a few years back in the old format, Ryan James got a tonne and people were able to put the captaincy on him.
Can’t remember how they dealt with it, pretty sure they just let it stand.

If a full reset isn't an option and they can't fix the glitch then the next best option is no official weekly comp and no overall points from round one but teams and price changes are as normal. All it will mean is that next week a lot of teams have Carty going forward. Teams and team value would be unaffected but points would start on zero round two
