Moses has been cleared of a groin injury. Not sure if I can trust him going forward but there are probably other fires to put out first.

Anyone know the new of teams this year compared with last?

Probably a decent initial estimate of ghost teams.

That's exactly what you should do, anticipate worst case scenarios and act on them before they happen. It's a great way of pissing those pesky trades up against a wall. Very Happy

or....maybe wait until the team lists come out and make a considered decision. The main reason to make an early trade is to catch a cow you've missed. Fog (who I have and am happy about) is a decent steady pick who will score in the 50s and doesn't have a bye for a while but I doubt he is going to be the SJ of this season. For a start he doesn't cost $550k.

The Bulldogs have some issues but tbh Hutch is not the major one....it might be the guy on the massive contract who is actually a centre with a penchant for kicking the ball really high.

At this stage i'm only seeing 159460 teams.

145510 teams with both a captain and vice captain set.

EDIT this may not be right. obviously the site says 175k teams and there are teams ranked that far deep. re-running scripts.

That feels like a substantial increase over last year, and the captaincy setting is interesting too at nearly 10%.

There's probably not a lot of incentive for FanHub to scrub out ghost teams, but it doesn't sound like you would be too hard to estimate who is Fake and real?.

Chan and Grant extra 14 points means I’ll crack 700. Seems a pretty dim thing to be happy about, but I’m a pretty dim guy so it’s fitting.

So dim that I forgot about Cleary, lol. I should still land on 701, though. Fingers crossed.

Gah, to hold our not to hold?

He may be "cleared", but he definitely did something. Will he kick next week? Will he goal kick? Anyone going to Panthers stadium on Friday who can advise who is kicking and goal kicking in the warm up? They play before the Raiders so that info would be valuable.

Phins are truly in a spot of bother.

Today really showed that the aging pack needs to be transitioned out. Wallace, although part of that aging pack, needs to be in the side. Also need to blood forwards like Keeley and Teague some more - they wouldn't do any worse than what we saw today.

Decision needs to be made on SOS. He needs to be moved on promptly. Not that he could do much today anyway, but he just does not demand anything. Actually, I take that back, when he does demand the ball he does this woeful up and under long kick with seemingly zero power. Very frustrating option. Surely you'd just look to bring Katoa and Burns in at some point.

Tesi Niu again showed why he is not NRL standard. Woeful defence. Truly shocking. But then again the whole team was like that today.

Also, why do the Phins look so damn unfit? Guessing it's the aging roster. It's going to be a long season.

He said post game it only caused issues when kicking. See how it plays out this week but you'd think he would be limited.
