2016 Live Fantasy Draft

Hi Guys

Thought i'd get in early as this could take some planning. I'd love to get a group of 8-10 of us real fantasy players to meet up and have an actual live draft and a few drinks next season. Maybe start and on going tradition much like "the league"

Copy the list and add your username and location if youre interested. We will get as many names as we can to start as im sure once we start to arrange a date and location people wont be able to come.

If its not in Brisbane then Im not that interested. Sure I like NRL Fantasy but Im not willing to travel just to play a draft game.

Krump- Sydney. If we got a few people from Brisbane interested I'm sure something could be arranged so all you 2 heads could get together and participate.

Regardless, you should make it a Friday night between 730 and 930, Brisbane fans always have that 2 hours a week set aside.

Brisbane - more then happy to facetime/skype into a Sydney one but I cant see myself getting on a plane for a fantasy sport draft.

Is anyone here keen on taking over an existing Ultimate League team in 2016?

The team is part of a 10 team keeper comp. You will not get to do the initial draft, but will be responsible for trading players and draft picks (based on this years results) throughout the off season. The team will be cut to 15/25 by the end of January leaving February for draft research.

Ideally the "coach" would be from the Brisbane area and available for a Live Draft/BBQ/Drinks the week before the 2016 season kicks off, however we will consider someone from interstate if they are keen. The team will be yours indefinitely but it's expected you would take it semi-seriously... IE At least check teams on Friday arvo, and field a full Fantasy Team for the weekend.

If anyone's interested, let me know. (Sorry for hijacking your thread ShanBon)

I know we run an Ultimate League group or two every year. So some blokes around here will have some definite experience with it.

Hope so. I know it kinda sucks not doing the original draft, but the rest of us are pretty attached to our core teams now and want to avoid starting from scratch...

No wonder the person is abandoning their side. Their best player will be in reserve grade next year.
