Think I’ll have to bin Ponga if he doesn’t fire this weekend (tough game though Cowboys away) just to not have Danny Levi be my strongest 18-25

if anyone isnt running Salmon they'd have a weak spot elsewhere, maybe cheap WFB or Strange at centre.
I back Strange to pick up the scoring, but i'd rather be playing Salmon at the moment.
Yep, some even have Strange running in the halves. If you have 6 <$300k guys in your team, the only 2 I feel I could rely on in my 17 for decent scoring at the moment are Burbo and Salmon.

Went from 30k to 101k with Haas last night. Might have to borrow the famous Rabbit’s charge.
haha. all i'm saying is cheap spots in your team probably mean more guns. it probably balances out.
Chan putting up a 40+ wouldnt even be surprising. Fingers crossed he just holds the spot for a while.

Super interesting.
I mean it used to make sense when you could get CP13, had Hodges at centre and McCulloch backup hooker, but who are they all going for now?? Maybe this year it’s bit of Vegas impact
Some surprises in here like Smoothy & Staggs @ ~8%. Maybe Autopick had a glitch in the algorithm?

What about if you are running Salmon in the 17, Strange at CTR and cheap WFBs. Asking for a friend

Just shows Demetriou really knows how to run his interchange bench.
Playing funny buggers, named Duncan to start at Lock (instead of keeping their best forward and captain in his preferred position) which just screams that he was fearful of the Broncos attack on the Edge. (Ironically, Walsh waltzes through the middle to score in the 25th minute.) Then he swaps Duncan to reserves. Then keeps Murray on, even though he was pretty clearly gassed and gives his 80 min Hooker a second spell when he'd already had a 10 min rest ITB!!
Even worse, he was named as starting 2RF, then Captain's run at lock, then put on the bench for 50 minutes, then played 10 minutes middle, 20 minutes right edge.
Dimitriou doesn't have a clue. Bennett really stitched us up leaving us with this moron.

Calling Johnston Wighton Graham and Munro NSW cup level is arguably the worst footy take I've ever read
Only 1 of those 4 players has played first grade this year

I’d legit take the Dragons 2-5 over Souths 2-5 this season

Exactly, thats my starting centre and 17th man youre talking about there! i went from 80k to 130k last night with just Piakura. Im going to need to assemble a crack team of advisors to support my charge (Rek's Rough Rabble maybe?)

This should be Souths full strength backline, but it isn't. Yet. Graham is sorely missed.
Munro
Johnston
Mitchell
Wighton
Tass
Walker (if he keeps playing like a spud, Hawkins.
Gray (Ilias needs to dropped now or JD loses his job)

What are the thoughts on Rapana v Turbo this weekend?
I'm considering going Tolo & Rapana to May & Turbo with 164k itb
Turbo up against the Roosters 42 BE and scoring around 50-55?
Rapana up against the Tigers 30 BE I could see him scoring around 50 with offloads and TBs
I could also see Rapana going vintage and getting an 80+

They went so well at full strength in the Charity Shield.
It's Round 2. Souths will be in the 8. St.Merge won't be.

Ivan Henjak, Steve Price, Rick Stone (though he was there before Wayne) - its not pretty reading.

It’s R2, says the guy bringing up preseason results the sentence before
Both wont be there in September

Even without Lomax's dominance over Graham? That's some call.

No one is expecting the Dragons to be a top 8 team, 10th-11th would be nice. Souths fans however are delusional, I remember arguing about this when they signed Wighton and people here thought that was going to guarantee them a top two finish. Rob's right, Souths are trash. They will be fighting to make 8th again. They will run up good scores against the worst teams and crumble against any decent team. Clueless coach, poor signings, rubbish halves, disgustingly bad back line, and forwards that get worse every year.

It does instantly look better with Mitchell and Wighton in the centres. Will give strike to take pressure off the halves too, even Ilias would have a chance if his job was just to feed them
Won't happen though, because of Latrell's ego and Demetriou's fixed ideas.

Is it really that controversial?
Wighton a great CTR
Johnson a great finisher, but doesn’t do the tough yards and never had to create for himself
Tass eh
4th player NSW Cup level
Lomax and Bird - enigmatic but both potentially rep players if fit and in the right headspace. Which Flanno will unlock
Rava - I actually got a semi imagining him against old mate Rabs ideal Souffs side including stringbean Munro and jockey sized Gray. There’s still a crater from that time he ran over Taaffe
Suli - above NSW cup level

It's fun to guess how many of the Rabbitohs last night would make the Broncos team.
Cook, probably, but that would mean Kevvie dropping his son, so maybe not.
Murray can take Piakura's edge.
Maybe Johnstone on a wing for Arthars? But after his grand final work Arthars seems pretty solid.
Wighton or Latrell would push Staggs out of a centre slot, would prefer Latrell. Cobbo keeps the other centre. Wighton as utility is a good shout.
and that's it. 5 Rabbits make the Broncos starting 17.
That's pretty dire - the scoreline being close last night is really an indictment on poor game management from the ponies.

Instantly looks worse with that spine though
I think Latrell as an 8/10 FB is more important than Latrell as a 10/10 CTR for Souths
