I've been playing for a very long time and I'm not sure I've ever made a trade based on a match up or the draw. I may have considered it when trying to pick between two players but usually only on the home stretch when trying to guess who might get rested.

It's a pretty good way to invite disappointment imo, particularly at the start of the season.

Agreed.

I only really use draws as a tiebreaker between players, and even then mostly just for WFBs (and halves to a lesser extent).

Making a trade that you wouldn't have otherwise made just because of draw is a bad idea.

I need a gun half that I know. Can’t keep going with Hutcho. I thought Ponga could keep up the good form and I was worried about Turbo ability to stay fit and I did not wanna get Kiraz.

I have 3 Storm guys on bye round 4 too. Scans didn’t show too much there for Haas still tells me there is an issue there especially with Walters to take a cautious approach. I already have Kris out this week and who knows what’s happening with Kini. It’ll be a late decision on Haas come next Thursday but if he’s carrying a knee issue which looks like he is I think he’s gonna go back to the 800k mark and lose 100k. Playing conservatively all the time won’t get me anywhere I mean look at Booze he just pissed Ponga off for many that would be considered an aggressive move.

My initial concern re Cotter was the mins. But I ended up holding another week I think the Luki injury helped Cotter too.

Yeah Hutch is gone for me. Galvin could fill the hole for you, like Trindall last year (hopefully for more than 3 weeks though). Worked out alright for me back then.

Foggy's still a good pick though to save some cash. Nothing wrong with Hynes or Moses either, but it's gotta make sense for your team more than just how soon they're playing the Tigers. I'd hold Ponga now though, like I and most did with Teddy last year for the same price, and he was injured for a shit score and dropping cash fast. Also Booze had like half a dozen WFBs, different situation.
