Murray usually plays on the edge at Origin level as well.

The % on Turbo is the surprising one for me. He is only in 19% of teams and 41% of top 1,000.

My cash league opponent did, thankfully. Shame my POD in Sitili couldn't capitalize more on the gap, but I'll take it.

As a Roosters fan it seemed like an arm wrestle where the entire time we were holding the Panthers centimeters above the table, and then at the end the bigger stronger brother stopped trying and said nahhh you can win - you're so strong little bro

In other words, felt like a shit game where the outcome was known by all 20 minutes in

Yeah, if I'm being honest I thought it was pretty shit and very one-sided. Hated my terrible tip from earlier than 20mins in.

Pookus McFly wrote:Im still comfortable with the Turbo captaincy, and will be all the way up until he scores a 30. I need a little excitement in my life, the chances of him going huge and riding that wave will be worth it. But a starting Terrell May looks like an good captaincy option going forward when there wont be a juicy Manly v Dragons to greedily plunder for fantasy points.

Only format I have Turbo in my team is VSDT and I've captained him, over Hynes. I reckon he'll go huge this week. Mostly because I haven't been able to bring him in yet (in Fantasy) but next week will/would be the week (if Tuaupiki is gone for sure) so he'll undoubtedly be 50K more expensive than today when it's my turn.

And they're playing the Dragons and will demolish them.

On tonight's game; it's funny how I've been waiting for Sitili to score a try whilst extinguishing bigger fires, all the while wanting to get rid of him. And now, the week after he finally scores a try, I want to get rid of him more than ever. So rubbish for Fantasy. It's very clear why I never saw his name come up once, ever, in Fantasy discussions in the five or so years I've been playing the game... until this year, for the price, I guess.

    Of the rest of the game;

Terrell May - got him locked in as VC (Hynes (C)). Easy to say in hindsight, but would have been a nice straight C.

Butcher - definitely interesting. Price probably a bit of a deterrent considering the volatility of the Roosters forwards.

Edwards - hoping Cleary is only out for the week, but the goal kicking was an interesting addition. Quietly had a very good start to the year amongst other much more talked about fullbacks.

Schneider - good match. Wouldn't be a simple thing to do, filling in for Cleary, but he handled it well.

Sitili - well I guess this was his ceiling tonight. I just hope there's few enough fires next week that I can finally part ways. $20 says he's still in my team next weekend, though.

Taylan May - he's not going that bad, but when I look at him I think of my introduction to Fantasy a few years ago when RTS scored a massive R1 score so I brought him in straight away, only to see him score under 20 for about 4 or 5 weeks in a row. So, it could be worse, I guess. They're not great scores for what owners paid, but at least they're not 20's? I guess...

Teddy - big call to bring him in against Panthers this week, even without Cleary. Guess this is what plenty were waiting for, though; something to finally, hopefully, drop that price a bit. Commiserations to new owners. Again, it's a bad score but it could definitely be worse. To be honest, just watching the game I wouldn't have thought he'd score this much.

Kenny - that's tough business. I really hope Lussick doesn't follow suit. Very concerned he does.

Crichton - similar to my point about Butcher - would be hard to take a punt on these Roosters forwards, but jeez this'd be so tempting if he did rightfully get a starting spot back. I feel like any single other club in the entire NRL would be getting a hell of a lot more from him than the Roosters are.

I'm just shocked so many are gambling on a WFB captain.

High risk, high reward. Could get a banner, could be more like Teddy.

I get why owners are a bit nervous, but as a neutral, I can't see any way he's going to be like Teddy, purely because the Saints and Panthers are slightly different teams.

I genuinely feel like it'd take something completely out of the ordinary for Turbo not to score at least very well in this match. Most obvious thing would be an injury, or even a completely rain-drenched afternoon, but barring either of those two I can't see a scenario where his floor isn't mid to late 40's and his ceiling is anything.

I’m not even going to try to catch up. Have I missed anything since page 1? Just finished the shift from hell so missed the whole game. Captain May and Cheese got me to 182! Halved my rank and if my maths is correct I’m on target for a 60 average per player! I might crack the 1000. Happy days! I’m pretty happy with the captaincy -Cleary only got me 150 last week!

The final minutes were great viewing.
I'd hate it as a Roosters fan though.

This had the makings of an inverted twofold Haiku-14:10:14.

Alright @snatchpato mate, listen up. I hear you run an Indian bloody opening, you weak gutted dog you. Kent's who effing dabble in Nimzo, right, reckon they’re playing chess, but it’s more like hide-and-come-fuck-me. Hiding behind pawns, dodging the real fight, it's like bringing a knife to a dencorub match. Chess is about guts, taking the center, dominating. But there, with your King’s Indian (and don't that make you feel royal! dickhead) you’re just tiptoeing around, afraid of a scrap. Real chess players, we take the bull by the horns, not dance around it. Step up, play a real opening, and stop playing shadow boxing.

Just a random thought. I wonder if I was to challenge Snatch to a game of 10 minute Blitz, how many Snatch skulls it would take to make it even. I mean what are the under/overs. I'm gonna say 20.
