    from tonight’s game.

Blake Taaffe. Category 1 concussion. Looks well post game. Will miss next game.

Harry Edwards. Neck injury. Shooting Pain in his left arm and thumb. Likely disc bulge. MRI tonight.

Kurt Mann  Fractured left hand 3rd metacarpal. X-ray tomorrow to confirm. Likely surgery. Usually time to return is 4 weeks post surgery.

Connor Tracey - torn left calf. Scan tomorrow to confirm severity.

Kikau- kicked in left leg. Pain. Will get X-ray to hopefully exclude a fibula fracture.

Max King. Left hand pain and swelling. Possible fracture near wrist. Will get X-ray and CT tomorrow.

    @NRL_Bulldogs injury addition.

Chris Patolo suffered a bad neck stinger early in the contest. Precationary to keep him out of the rest of the game

I wonder with Taaffe and Tracey out for the next game whether Kiraz might go to fullback?

My autofill team is doing better, which is crazy

407/10 Fog has the armband. Currently 903

    **Sydney weather update**
Sun is out, stuff is drying. Weather looks like it’s off the coast now on the radar

With how well NRL grounds drain (except Brookie and Leichhardt) conditions might be fine this arvo

I wasn't not watching the game properly last night but i was checking in the MTB site from time to time as i was out at dinner.

I saw Taaffe streaming at more than a point a minute and i was of course very happy... then nothing every time i refreshed it seems stuck on 27... i thought to myself "bloody Taaffe"... then when i got home i learned why.

One thing that could be worth a letter writing to Fi Fi is that if someone gets knocked out becoz of foul play that the person who gets knocked out pockets the sin bin or send off demerits.

    Wats everyone think?

I'm considering punting Lussick for Blaize to free up cash and allowing me to go Sitili and Teddy for Angus and Hynes next week.

Without doing the extra trade this week I would miss Angus next week or have to hold on to Sitili.

I think it's worth it. Any thoughts?

    I like it

You might lose 20 pts this week but longer term in a better position

Also being Eel to Eel last game you can always reverse if other problems arise in the earlier games that derail this plan

I guess just check positional cover looks like, but seems solid

    Who else could you punt...

I was just looking at Lussick... I think last week was an anomaly and by far his worst ever go at HOK at any stage of his scoring playing 80. A starting HOK that is likely to play 80 each week is hard to come by and i reckon that was a one off

Yeah I agree re: Lussick I've been advocating for it being a outlier, but my other options are Rapana and Tatola. Tats might leave me short once prices are updated - it will be close.

Only saw last 20 mins of Knights/Dragons last night, where with the game gone I at least got the Ponga junk consolation

Did just catch the Bulldogs v Roosters mini
    - not sure Young was a sendoff, in fact 100% sure if no injury he’s on report maybe not even binned. Was having a shocker before it though, that miss on Kikau…
    - the captain challenge in the first minute at 0-0 is the worst bit of game theory ever. I think teams would be smart to not even use challenges in the 1st half, unless they’re already 2 tries or more behind.
    - feel bad for Teddy, a lot of concussions now, worried it’ll be longer than 1 week missing.

I disagree with the Young assessment. He comes sprinting out of the line, his arm connects flush to the jaw and you have to consider the injury in that situation and Taafe folded. When you sprint out of the line you need to get it right, there is intent there to but a shot on, when it goes bad you accept the consequences.

And the dildo of consequence seldom comes lubed.

In my mind the factor which contributes most to it being a send off is that he could have just as easily put the hit on with his shoulder but instead opted for a loose arm coming across the top? In my opinion the tackle wasn't just careless, it was reckless. He should sit on the pine for a while to think about it.
