Correct Radley call was really harsh.

I guess that’s kind of my point. He got a Grade 3 careless, could possibly have been a Grade 2, maybe a Grade 1 reckless. Seems some slightly different opinions / interpretations, but I don’t think anyone thinks 2 weeks is wrong enough that the system is broken. Poor tackle, team paid the price and so will he.

Anyway, only 1 player today like many (Brbo) and considering moving him on so may end up with 0.

Might be a little bias as an owner but Mahoney absolutely drew defenders. The front on shot shows Egan's eyes glued to Mahoney until he passes, which created the space

But I also think Grant's should have been an assist

A strict interpretation of your photos might suggest that Mahoney put a person into a (small) gap - where there is a defender directly in front of Wishart.

That and if you pass to SHOES that close to the line you would expect a try whereas that was not what Grant was thinking when he passed it Basketball

    it comes down to intent

    Mahoney was confident

Grant had no plan for Wishart to go through three defenders

Purely rotation IMO meant that there wasn't enough middle minutes to go around

First 2 interchanges were Watson on for Walker and Egan Butcher on for Teddy. Egan came on to play edge via Tupouinua centre which May cannot do.

Next interchange was Jennings on for Collins at 26 minutes. Young had just been sent off and you couldn't have both Angus and Tupouinua in the centres so Roosters sacrificed a middle instead. This was where the damage was done as you now had Collins, JWH, Whyte and May to rotate through one middle spot since Radley never gets subbed

May could not have been the replacement option for any of these interchanges as he didn't fill the role.

Next interchange was May on for JWH after ~33 minutes. Pretty standard rotation and about the time May would typically come on, give or take a few minutes.

Next interchange was Whyte on for Suaali'i HIA. Whyte played edge with Crichton/Egan/Watson filling the gaps at centre in defense.

Next interchange was May on for Collins. Again a pretty standard rotation

Suaali'i passed HIA and came back on for Egan, which left Whyte on the edge, again a role that May cannot do.

Next interchange was JWH back on for Collins. With the game on the line you need the big dog on the field

After Radley sinbin Roosters needed to be extra mobile in the middle which meant Egan on to play edge with Whyte at prop. May probably could have come back on in the middle for Whyte here (and maybe does if there is no sinbin) but that only gets him an extra 5 minutes

tl;dr Rotations were whack there is no worthwhile data here

The good thing about playing away at the bunnies, is because theyre such a small club and have no fans, it barely even feels like an away game
