Funnily enough, with everything thats happened this weekend, injuries won’t be my problem as much as my uninjured players all being shit

Star recruit David Fifita starting
Kleese Haas to lock
Erin clark to the bench
fortunately fifita and finfeuiaki are on opposite sides of the field so i can cheer them both on without fear of one cancelling out the points of the other
Cowboys 1-17

Am I foolish of save trade and play McIntyre in scoring 17 or should I sell to Talagi? Averse to selling green dots the way this season's going

Yeah they did give some extras out a few years ago. Was late in the season from memory and a lot of people were running out from a big flurry of injuries.
Was a fair bit of backlash though, so maybe that would put them off. I can see why they did it though - to keep people engaged.

I think that any change to a ruleset after the commencement of a game damages it's integrity. No matter the game.
If they were to I'd be pretty pissed. Would have impacted how I've made my trades this week.

Third game in a row with 0 players, I miss celebrating my players getting 4 point OFH and getting mad when they aren’t awarded a TA…

Wasn’t that Covid era to deal with players being out for Covid isolation reasons?

Yep, hated the decision back then. I'm a trade saver so probably some bias, but agree, they literally shifted the goal posts. Obviously it polarised the Community.
The good that came out of it after that Season was we now have the current set up where we have the extra trades stagger released.

Yep, it was through Covid, and that side of things didn't help, but was more injury related.
pretty sure FanHub even said "because of the unprecedented injuries" or something similar when they announced it.

Kurt Donohue's charge was a 2nd offence , which is why the sanctions are similar

Cool he should finally get a run in first grade whilst Jrbo is in Origin camp

I'll be the one laughing when he is back next week or the week after, as Siebold suggests.. but next is the chance for Difiita to shine when he is at just 0.9% ownership. POD (C)aptaincy next week
https://www.examiner.com.au/story/8573260/manly-keen-to-keep-tight-rein-on-schusters-nrl-return/
"Manly's reserve-grade side Blacktown have used Schuster as an edge forward and at lock, but Seibold said his change of position was simply a part of getting the 22-year-old up to speed.
"He played well (at lock) and we wanted to get his hands on the footy and get in the washing machine," Seibold said.
"It's a bit different when you play at five-eighth or on an edge and we wanted to see how he went.""
