I agree, with the addition of the weekly bye it's a lot riskier to stash a player in the EMG, I remember seasons where I carried a red dot almost the whole way through on the EMG bench. Green dots are so valuable, with the njuries, HIAs and byes you can lose any number of players any given week

I thought Stewart is at risk to Hopoate. Why would Schiller lose his spot. He's in form and Hopo is a bum

It's cash out for Sitili. Is it any less relevant than lot of the other cash out options? Still have room for WFB/CTR spots for 13 and Strange my only other Raider

Worst from each club is looped, other two play. That’s the order I’ve got them atm but could be easily persuaded

@robelgordo in relation to your question I would play Hughes out of those 3. Loop one of Salmon or Hutcho. The other I agree with looping Levi

Honey Badger wrote:My take on Iro. I dont think Talakai stays in the fwds when the Sharks are at full strength but you get to play him this week, if there is an injury to a ctr he comes in, if there is an injury to a winger he comes in and if they are short on fwds Talakai moves back to the pack and Iro comes in. So plenty of opportunities for Iro to get game time. I just dont think he'll be available every week so make sure you have cover.
Sharks also play a few Sunday games so a good player to loop with.

This is where i miss the bigger squads where it was easier to stash these sort of guys.

That's pretty much my take on Iro as well.

A couple of things from Coach Fitzy pressers:

Post-Round 3 match said that forward stocks could be a problem but that they got some guys that they can move around (i.e. Talakai presumably).

Pre-Round 4 match said that they're not looking at any permanent change past this week, that Sifa has probably been their strongest player this year, but that he is also a strong backrower, but that Iro is also a good player and deserves his chance.

Post-Round 4 match was very happy with Iro, said Sifa had to jump into the backrow and was another guy that they had to play out of position.

My read on it is that Fitzgibbon is very happy with Sifa and still sees his position as being a Centre.
They clearly think Iro is ready for first grade, and things can change - maybe if Iro is good enough he forces the coaches hand, but that's probably more out of hope then any clear pathway - seems like Ramien is more likely the fall guy for that to happen?.

Sharks fans might know more, but I'm struggling to recall if Fitzgibbon has debuted anyone where they've ended up having a consistent starting role quickly? kinda seems like he hasn't? so maybe he much prefers to stick with experienced guys over young talent?

I think Sharks fans were hoping Ramien would be the one to make way for Iro, not Talakai.

One thing on Iro, even though I’m going Chevy is Sharks probably don’t want to lose him with him being off contract at the end of the year so should get some game time

@easytiger yeh on here I am happy to blast Ramien but doesn't mean that's anywhere near a thought for Fitzy. Watching Ramien closely, he just does alot of negative, game turning things, its always been his thing too, even in his initial stint with the Sharks. But in between, he can be very strong/dominant for patches and here he is, a starter. This is purely from a fan perspective, nothing to do with fantasy. It just happens so if Ramien was dropped, it has a fantasy impact in Iro.
Their is a lot of forwards here, and a few niggles so that's another gateway for Iro. But also at the  end of the day like I alluded to yesterday, this is a sub 300k potential cow who may even bang out decent scores long term and hopefully short term for a cash boost. Me personally I don't look at this as such a risky play, if u bring him in and it doesn't work out it means u jump to another from him later. It's all setup for a potentially easy quick cash boost at the least, plus u get to view the Sharks in action with an increased ferver - come join us !

Seyfarth should play 80 edge this week? I could do with a plug in mid and he's best I can afford and his form seems decent. Is he looking at +40 mins still off bench when Bateman back?

    My take on Iro:

Cashout + long term money maker. He might not play every game this season, but I'd be surprised if he played less than 10 across the season. For me, that's plenty of time for him to make money. The other reason I'm jumping on is I'm not convinced about any of the other cashies this week, and they have higher BEs so easier to watch them for a week.

    My take on Iro:

One of my favourite characters in the Airbender series, loves a good cup of tea and is a great mentor and father figure despite being part of the Fire nation

Such a good show developed by Netflix that I have never seen anywhere else before!
