Whoops, hadn't updated my profile. Yep, in Dili for the next few years. Snorkeling is ok here, but fantastic a 45 mins ferry over.

Nice. They'd have to be some relatively untouched waters. Can't imagine there'd be a big tourist scene over there?

Hastings owns KPP in fantasy I'm sure of it, did you see how he dived to catch that KPP offload in the first half? tremendous effort to make sure it was a OFH

Haha, I was cheering my head off. Mulvy jnr was trying to figure out why I was so happy with Hastings. Do you own Hastings? I appreciated the effort.

The waters are perfect when you get out of town, but if you hear East they're also full of crocodiles.

Arturo Island across the channel is the place. Perfect reefs and one of the world's best viewing points for blue whales. Not much electricity or water etc on the island, so it's a proper experience.

But yeah, on the whole Timor is not a tourist place. Expensive, desperately poor, hard to get around, very few amenities/attractions, some interesting diseases, really limited food options, and a nuisance to get to (only flights to Darwin and Denpasar, and at bad times so it always takes a day to get to Sydney).

But if you can make it over I'll look after you nicely - take you to the only bar that has footy, lend you the 4wd so you can travel outside of our three main roads... the works.

    Nice. Thanks for the hospitality.

Yeah, I must admit I'd already hit the googles hard and the things that became apparent quick were that it was expensive and hard to get to. Probably not the kind of place to bring the wife and kids either. But definitely bookmarked for a day if/when I might travel solo again.

It was good to see as a KPP owner, very enjoyable game to watch for all the highly owned fantasy relevant players (bar Sitili)

No worries, it was a genuine offer that is open to the forum generally too!

And we manage to traipse about fine with 3 under 6 - including snorkeling etc. But somewhere like Lombok or the Gilis makes much more sense.

Best of all Sitili came on for Whyte. Looks like he was always going to get the 80.

I spent a good chunk of the week with JC in over Angus, but brought him this arvo when I had another look at Campbell's stats. His historic highest price (outside of starting price) is only 568k -not even 100k up on where he is now. Decided he just wasn't consistent enough to be worth bringing in, and I will likely pass on him altogether.

Just got back from indoor and watched the highlights. Looks like a game where it was both good and all the fantasy options scored well.

I know there was a bit of talk but did anyone actually cut the Cheese 🧀 ?

Nice. Probably just the costs and difficulty to get there the main hassle then. We were in Lombok and Gili Meno in 2016 back when my kids were 1 & 3. One of my favourite holidays, but would love to get them somewhere cool like that now that they could enjoy the snorkelling too. Problem is, being confined to school holidays makes travel anywhere pretty close to impossible, sadly.

Snorkelling off Gili Meno was world class, not so much on Lombok. But got some pretty awesome waves on Lombok to make up for it, and it was such a beautiful island it made up for the lack of snorkelling. 100% sure there was awesome snorkelling on the island somewhere... just not where we were (down the south end near Kuta - Lombok Kuta, that is, of course), which, like I said, was totally fine. Jeez, good times. I used to love going places.
