Well the Crichton punt two weeks ago is certainly working out sitting at 5/334

But it doesn't tell me if Iro or Chevy or both are the correct answer for my chan/talagi dilemma.

What’s the worst average for a current fullback this season?

Looks like Kennedy at 27, can Chevy at least do that?

I havnt really looked into anything too concrete but I’m imagining next week would be a good time to start culling some of the Dogs/Eels/Raiders I have in my team.

With Rapana leaving this week that includes: Hutch, Salmon, Hughes, Lussick, Gutho, Talagi, Fog, Kris, Levi, Strange.

Just figuring out who stays and who goes

Fog Lussick and Strange won’t hurt you for a while; god the other lot can goooooo

I have Levi Hughes Salmon Talagi.

    I don’t include Strange.
While I think he is not final 17 material, he’s also not bad little DPP with less usual CTR/HLF. 10/21 of your players though I guess leaves Chevy to rise in price without you!

Downside for you mate is that Hosking Hopgood Smithies (eventually Curran) all in the buy column too

Iro basically $310k cost to me now from not doing Sitili to him trade. If he was late switch out that wouldn't be too bad though doubt that happens

I'm currently going chan to Chevy and agree he is probs the best but as others have pointed out its more the job security of both rather than the average. In saying that one would assume Chevy is 'safer' at this point in time

Doesn’t cost us coin if we do what you suggested last night mate. I thought about it more this morning and I think I’ll be stashing him in the EMG and hope he can be a nice cash cow (from bottom out price of probably low 300s). If nothing else, it saves a trade by not moving him on to someone else you’ll eventually move on. Basically just delayed cash gen.

Essentially I’m convincing myself of reasons not to trade him out. If I trade him out now, the cash loses are realised. For now, I still have dreams of making money from his starting price.

Nice. Probably just the costs and difficulty to get there the main hassle then. We were in Lombok and Gili Meno in 2016 back when my kids were 1 & 3. One of my favourite holidays, but would love to get them somewhere cool like that now that they could enjoy the snorkelling too. Problem is, being confined to school holidays makes travel anywhere pretty close to impossible, sadly.

Snorkelling off Gili Meno was world class, not so much on Lombok. But got some pretty awesome waves on Lombok to make up for it, and it was such a beautiful island it made up for the lack of snorkelling. 100% sure there was awesome snorkelling on the island somewhere... just not where we were (down the south end near Kuta - Lombok Kuta, that is, of course), which, like I said, was totally fine. Jeez, good times. I used to love going places.

Bit far from home but Caye Caulker in Belize has excellent snorkeling, although you have to take a boat tour off shore. Few great places along Yucatan in Mexican as well (Cozumel, Tulum the most popular)

Well you seem like someone that makes far wiser decisions than myself. Currently looking at exactly the same with Chan/Talagi for Iro/Chevy so I'd be most appreciative if you could let me know what you decide. Wink

Out of the curious, if Chan does slip into the 17 tonight, you holding? And I guess same for Talagi? If he's a late in are you holding both?

I think I'd hold both if named, but thinking if neither is named I'm going to do both trades, with a preference for Iro if only one is named. Relieved that both potential trade outs play before both potential trade ins.

Thanks mate. Had a quick look and it looks awesome. Sadly, that's a part of the planet my wallet hasn't ever been able to stretch towards.

We were absolutely mad for the South Pacific and South East Asia in our prime as it was affordable, and awesome - with a million options.

Maybe one day, though. I'll add it to the list. Wink

I traded Smithies out last week.

Happy to stay away from Hosking/Hopgood. Curran though is tempting. As long as it’s for another Bulldog I think I can make it work

At this rate the celebrity is going to be Del Bosque with the amount of times he’s showing up recently
