I reckon Utoikamanu makes Origin this year (and plays more than 14 mins)

My thoughts exactly. Drinkwater will either get picked or cover Tommy Deardon at 5/8th opening up FB for Chester

Why? If he'd had the bye this week and was going to be out next week would you hold him? I understand if you think it's going to be more than a week but you should have a reason other than 4 weeks is too many

In my situation, with 3 trades available, Cleary becomes an enabler to get rid of 2 dead wood players and get 3 potential season keepers at cheap prices in the same week. Gives me 3 very strong playable players in my 17, instead of relying on a Levi, Strange etc.

There are lots of good mid range trade in options at the moment and they tend to be season defining around this time of year if you pick up the right ones, guys like JDB and Horse last season came up around now. Hard to get them in unless trading out an injured gun like Cleary.

If he gets there because his form is so good that he is averaging 60 in fantasy, I can live with that.

I was just having a look at him earlier. has only been 2 games but lots of attacking stats, pretty inconsistent last year. might be an interesting punt to ride up to an elite WFB. I skipped all of iro/chester/stewie this week though so should be a fun shopping trip next week

Surely, if you were going to trade out Cleary, two or three weeks ago was the time to do it. You have had almost a million sitting there earning neither points nor cash rises, and now, on the eve of him playing again, and realise the fruits of your decisions, you are going to ditch him?

Are we really calling Charnze and Egan season keepers are after a couple of good games? Angus will always be at the mercy of Robbo.

The trade in options that I want and need the cash for are available after this round. Didnt need the cash to do my trade ins this week. A 3 trade week, really makes such a huge difference of what you can do with Cleary cash.

Just the way hookers have been this year BBrailey is looking to be a season keeper so Egan won’t be too far off

Egan probably isn't a top 5 hooker with Grant, Cook, Koroisau, Robson and probably Mahoney ahead of him

CNK would probably stuggle to be a top 10 WFB option with Ponga, Turbo, Teddy, Latrell, Drinkwater, Edwards comfortably better options then the likes of Marzhew, Walsh, Isaako, Hammer around the same level.

Takes more than 2 scores to become a season keeper

There's a reason he is down the bottom of the FOG each year.

Honestly, I think Egan is a keeper more than CNK.

Egan is the form hooker of the comp, its only his injury history that has held him back in the past. Now getting 80 minutes every week, such a good runner of the ball around the ruck, strong tackler, getting there in base. Can also find the try line, which he hasn't done yet this season, but had tries 4 games in a row last year. High base, high ceiling player in a really good side, and has taken his game to the next level.

Charnze is similar, getting there without any tries, just massive base stats. As long as the Warriors are playing well, should score well.

Angus is a guy you can't miss out on or risk falling behind if he keeps getting 80 each week.

If any of these guys can put up a 50 average they have significant value and can stay in the team easily. This is probably the only week to get each of them, or let them go through to the keeper after that.

If I am right on some of my POD plays, getting Charnze, Egan, Stefano now, then it sets me up well for a while with good, cheap scoring.

Simi is playing he was in 19. Weekes is probably just 18th man

Also poor old Toby Sexton playing 9 for the bulldogs. If only he didn’t leave titans he’d be playing first grade

Egan has a high risk of injury or HIA too risky for me.

WFB often don’t keep these scores up either and come back to the pack history has shown and I don’t think that’s gonna change
