i was reading about talagi on the eels forums they like us think it's rediculous that ba is considering playing him as a middle forward because he's too small & is not a great tackler...but later on they raise the point that simonsson is in doubt & talagi could play ctr..it's good that the eels game is early in the round so we will know what role he has either bench (a sell) or ctr (a keep)

Des Hasler is weighing up playing former Maroons winger Phil Sami at fullback.

Sami is expected to return from an ankle injury he sustained in a hip drop tackle from the Dolphins’ Max Plath a fortnight ago.

Another fullback option is AJ Brimson, however that would mean Hasler shaking up his halves pairing two weeks in a row after he axed struggling halfback Tanah Boyd last week.

The Titans are still searching for their first win of the year heading into the round 7 clash, having recorded five straight losses in Hasler’s first season in charge.

Makes sense, if he does put Stonestreet at wing with Talakai on the bench and available forwards then it seems like Iro's spot is a lot safer

Haha, good name. He'll have to take time out from his other job as a no-nonsense detective in 1950s LA - just back from the war, taking no shit from loudmouth hoodlums. He might not always play by the rules but he gets results. Nobody crosses Sam Stonestreet and gets away with it.

I mean, they might put Talakai back at centre as well.

Kayal Iro has played on the wing once in his ~50 game career. I don't think anyone thought he'd go there to replace Katoa other than Fantasy coaches.

If Sami is named fullback I’m jumping on Foran, it’s a dumb as hell idea and will almost certainly blow up in my face in 2 weeks or less, but it’s been a weird season and it still wouldn’t be the dumbest trade I’ve made so far
