Man, Taylan to Chester or holding a trade will be the one I will think about for the week.

Centre is always a shitto position. Taylan may go large and Chester low this week. You'll celebrate the hold. The next week it swaps and you wish you had Chester.

I'm thinking of moving on this week.

It's annoying I came to the realisation this week and not last week (when I couldn't afford Angus with my trades) but I'm just thinking there are better options elsewhere, especially with Origin looming. And what if it's another week next week?

Funnily enough, I have Hutch, Levi and Burbo and could easily hold him one more week with Angus/Waddell/Chester all sexy enough targets.

But I think I might hop on Brown now before he Fogarty or SJ's on me.

I'm giving your team 1/1000th the time I spend on mine, but with three trades this week, and assuming you've been burning through them like the rest of us (or me at least), I'd be moving on Hutch Levi and Burbo before I do Cleary. And enjoy the game more in the process.

If you trade him now you wasted the time and money on the bench to get rid of him before he comes back, so therefore waste a trade as well. So ultimately you are lose/lose now if you trade.

If you keep him you'll have the edge over the others that rip their side apart to get him back in.

That being said if he doesn't come back for a couple more weeks who knows.

I agree, and I'm doing the same.

But it's Nathan fucking Brown all over again. Gah. That taught me to trade injuries assertively especially at the start of the season. This year, though I've had more pressing concerns every week including this one. So he stays.

Yeah, I was looking at SJ, but his byes, for a non-origin player, really really suck.

Except in draft, they're really really good, so I have him there at least.

Yeah mate, unsurprisingly to myself I had come to that realisation too.

I seem to gather lightbulb moments in my head that I run with for anywhere up to a full 24 hours before realising they're terrible thoughts.

But it's gone now. Cleary stays... and he bloody better be named next week.

My thought now is whether or not this Chester fella everyone's talking about it actually worth a shot. Awful lot of tries in those scores bumping his average up nicely (with the games at FB too). He could be okay, and that CTR/WFB dual position is exactly what my team needs to be honest... but I just wish he was closer to 277K instead of 377K.

Can't see anyone else in that price bracket that looks like a goer either, though.

I stopped in at Foran, Brimson, Xerri and had a sideways glance at TMM, but none of those really hit the mark either. All probably decent options, but not for their prices, imo. Well, Foran is a bargain if he delivers even a portion of what he did last weekend, but I don't think I have the testicular fortitude for that move.

Probably just play it safe with Chester and hope he delivers.
