Had to go into the office this week for the first time in years so haven't had much shitposting or team fiddling time.

I'm going to direct trade Cotter to Hynes based on the theory I have the cash, both will play SOO and have similar byes, I haven't got any other burning needs and I think the difference between the two from rounds 7-12 will be worth it. Also had a look at trading Cheese or Kiraz but would need to pick up a shitter I'm not keen on to find the extra $50k I need.

Had a good round last week captaining Carrigan and not having Hynes but feels like I'm chancing it without one of the big two.

Idiot or not? (Edit : specifically relating to this trade, I think we all know the 'in general' answer)

My current squad actually only has 3 players on the bye in R13
Even assuming Hopgood and Teddy play origin, currently looking fine to field 13

Only having 12 available in R14 is going to be the bigger problem

Who are people captaining this week? I have to decide between SJ and Ponga (I’ll probably go SJ). In Dreamteam (top 50) I have to choose between them plus Nicho and Turbo! (prob VC Turbo and Cap Ponga). I’ll no doubt screw that one up.

How’s this for an unfortunate sporting name. Amy Cokayne is a hooker (an English rugby union player) and has just been banned. The English newspapers must had a field day with that one.

That’s a long long time ago. Surely he has to be making those big kick metres if he’s going to average 40+ for a few weeks

The Foran play isn't really backed by long term stats.

It's a small sample size play that relies on the Titans not changing things up for a few weeks

Paired with Randall, Brimson and Campbell, Foran had nearly hit his career high in kick metres by half time. By full time he had 50% more than his career high, nearly 6 times his career average and nearly 4 times his halfback average. To me this indicated it was the game plan for Foran to be the main kicker and this is where he will pick up anywhere between 10 and 15 points a week.

The entire plan goes to pieces if Weaver/Boyd make their way into the halves

Or if Foran leg falls off

Foran's played 44 games in the last two years to Egan's 39. Without checking, would imagine that Egan has had more in-game injuries/HIAs curtailing minutes too.

You have to go into it knowing there's a little bit of risk but meanwhile I'm looking at getting Brailey who has played 5 and 8 games the last two seasons. I'm warming up to Foran Laughing

With old man Trai too expensive to milk in a short period of time. Am leaning back to Blore.

    Reasons not to get Blore?
