I didn't know he was playing, thanks. Think I'd take Holland, he was good on debut. Plus Stanley spends a lot of time on the sidelines.

Fuck me sideways can't afford to go Saifiti-Fensom...Turner-Tolman so Rochows number may be up unfortunately....I am a fan of this forward heavy side though Smith, Parcell Woods, Tolman, JTurbo Surgess, Fensom, Merrin, Taupau, Cartwright Taylor/Barba, Hastings Gutherson/Auva'a, Aubbs RTS, Gordon, Mitchell

It is killing me not having Tedesco but at the moment I don't think I can justify paying nearly $550,000 for him, his value will come back down as well as his scores...surely? Rd 8 we play the tigers.
Since apparently we hate each other now (NFI where that came from but its entertaining so bring it on), I'm hoping Teddy and FPN are involved in some punchup between the pair.
Nobody is hurt (I'm not a wanker that wishes people injury), but as they continued on with it walking into the tunnel, the NRL decides its a bad look for the game and suspends them for 3-4 weeks. Teddy will get a low score from being binned/sent, miss a number of weeks leading into origin before he gets chosen there and is the redeemed one. FPN gets embarrassed by Teddy and we get a number of weeks without him. Winners all round I think.

Alternatively I'd be happy if the stats guy traded him out, Teddy didn't really feel like putting in for a couple of weeks and developed a case of the dropsies.

Edit: Seriously Ted, I just saw the try stats for the year. 7.... It's only been 5 weeks mate, you need to calm down!

Just need the Tigers to revert to form a bit more and regress although he can go massive on his own! Like Rabs mentioned with RTS last year when he started rolling it is a massive hindrance not having the elite WFBs but I think that is more apparent towards the end of the season and the run in, atm I can't afford Teddy without sacrificing RTS or Gordon and both are going well enough at present that I will wait on Jimmy T until after origin!

I can afford Tedesco, but I'm not going to bring him in at his price. I wouldn't read too much into the Tigers playing the Knights this week.

Sure it was round 1, but he only scored 55, and that was with two tries, in a game where 60 points were scored.

However in saying that, he did score 94 in week 2 in a game where 58 points were scored.

    Very Happy

No I am serious. What if he scores for the next 3 rounds are something like 38, 46 and 41?

Don't really see there prices fluctuating to much maybe best to sit and see

Evans and Grant aren't urgent trades - but they won't be in your final team so they'll have to go at some point.
They are unlikely to lose a tonne of cash, so its OK to sit on them for a while, and then ditch them when a good option comes along.
Once a top line gun who's dropping cash has bottomed out then make the switch.

There's a good chance Saifiti's scores will suffer now that Tariq is back, so you'll probably want to trade him out soon before he starts losing cash.

Everyone has him anyway , if you want to take the gamble and trade him out the chances of the above are 100 to one I reckon, so I will hang onto him myself. Also have heard rumours that Gurgess may be out Friday night so Carter may get another look in, good for those that held him however not so good for us Bunny supporters Mad

Surgess scores worse in the FRF I thought. Not sure why everyone is worried.

Would still get 6 rounds of Superted action in, but then he misses 4 out of 8 rounds.

WFB currently are RTS, Mansour and one of Barba/Mitchell/Bowen

You can survive with those WFB's till origin and just hide behind the lounge in fear of Tedesco during Tigers games. Definitely a must at some point but RTS is somewhat of a POD looking to come good that could potentially match Tedesco

I'm with you Bren...currently there are better options out there than Surgess especially if he keeps playing in the Front Row...

People without Tedesco are clutching big time. Just stop it. And get him in.

Average = 63 and worth every point of it.

For comparison, 2 guys I consider the best of super guns Cam Smith (58) and Fifita (57)

The lad was off the field for 15-20mins before coming on and belting out his last 60+

Doesn't actually bother me, but for the sake of the fanatics league averages, bite the bullet please guys

I would love for this Carter rumour to be true. As much cash as I can get out of him and then turning a NPR into Fensom would be perfect.

I've missed too many points to grab him before origin now. Also no way he scores 36 tries this year which is the current pace

Ferguson and Aubs gone for Dugan and Dylan Walker. $0 in the bank (I had $119,000). Team is now:

    Smith, Parcell
    SBurgess, Graham, BLawrence  (Packer)
Merrin, Cartwright, Whitehead, Mataora (JSaifiti, Carter)
    BHunt, Hastings, Walker (Taylor)
    Dugan, Walker (Claw, Scott)
    Mansour, Barba, Mitchell (Gutherson, Feeney)

    Thoughts?

What halves combinations are people planning to have come the origin period?

I plan on having Hastings and Walker still in my team, and probably Barber as well, but looking at a trade option for JNik.

Are either of Foran or Norman worth considering given they play all the bye rounds? Or would it be better to go with someone who is likely to average more points, will still play most of the bye rounds, and perhaps be a keeper for the rest of the season? I.e. Sezer, Mbye, Hunt, Milford?
