Asi was ineligible to play NRL due to failed HIA but then rolled out for NSW Cup team 9 days after. Does that seem not ok to anyone?

I still don't understand a lot about that situation. I mentioned it at the time, but apparently the independent doctor actually cleared Asi on the day and he was back out on the bench ready to go back on the field before the team learned that the bunker had classified him as category one and ruled him out of the match.
So maybe they got an exemption in the aftermath, but if so, was he not able to play first grade for some reason? I truly have no idea what happened with that whole situation but it's very peculiar.

Looks like Talagi owners may get reprieve

Trai Fuller's NRL status is word of mouth rather than something documented by NRL somewhere accessible for media and fans. Then again, probably just nerds like me (us?) that care.

Yeah if he actually passed the test and then had no symptoms the following days then sounds like a pretty straightforward exemption (only other aspect is number of concussions recently and in career). Looks like he just got dropped from first grade.

It was one of the funniest goal kicking displays in a long time (maybe since the toe punt was phased out).robelgordo wrote:
Cheers, I was not able to watch the games. NRL.com doesn't tell you who took the misses in the game summaries.
