Cleary, Piakura, and Salmon. It's not always a fun game.

Thinking I might get Teddy rather than Drink.
The extra cash might be handy when I need to replace Piakura, Salmon and all these other shittos from next week. Don’t strictly need a R13 WFB either, probably.
On the flipside, buying a dude that plays 4 out of 7 seems mental

I’m in bed on my IPad thanks mate I needed a laugh then I saw the title of the thread and nearly fell out of bed in laughterWT Winfield wrote:Anyone holding Baggo Pookura?
That shit's not healthy.
Fuck me he is so useless and to think I played Pookura over Salmon I feel sick!
Trades I’m running out of too maybe Salmon can stay for round 13 though but mind you Salmon will probs be benched next week.
Then KPP potentially bench like wtf is going on unbelievable.
Anyway Dylbags and Aitken saving me so far, Hughes, Plath, Garrick and Pookura have only got 96 points between the 4 of them lol!

Last week I got my highest score of the year (971). My very expensive FBs (Walsh, Papy, and CNK) contributed next to SFA. Is there any merit to just abandoning the position and go very cheap there so as to enable spending up big in forwards and halves? I realised this a bit late and my only trade this week was Paps, I wanted Dedwards but surely he is selected for Origin so I traded Drink in instead (there is no point in getting both). Weekes comes in next week (hopefully my only trade again) obviously, but for who? Was supposed to be Chevy but just a few k short, so is it Russell or CNK? Russell scored 37 so great for his price, and Weekes would replace CNK at FB with an enormous amount of change!

Do you really think our halves will be Hynes and Moses? Neither really seem to be big game players so both playing seems a bit risky. Can Dedwards play 5/8? Cleary out removes Luai as an option I guess. When is Moses due back? I think Teddy is a lock at FB (and captain) now that Cleary is out. With Turbo out and Fatrell ruling himself out does that mean we pick actual centres at centre?rhinoceroo wrote:

If Papy was definitely back rd 14, I'd possibly hold, doubt it though

Trading Piakura to Matto last minute sure has given me mixed emotions. At least Matto hit the breakevens, and I got rid of Pookura. But now I have another, more expensive shitto potentially

This just seems like such a nothing statement to me. How are they not “big game players”. Because they don’t play for a team as good as the Panthers?

I'm trading Cleary to him
- MIDs are awful this year
- I had already planned to hold an origin player in that slot
- I have more cash than I know what to do with

I’m tempted to buy him because I genuinely can’t be assed with my moves that make sense turning to shit and lord knows I’m not going to have enough trades to buy Origin guns in R20
Don’t we get 8 more trades in round 20. Would be hoping not to get burnt by another Haas knee injury.
In a non-fantasy viewpoint With the amount of effort he puts in each game, I reckon it is a real concern he could end up like Taumalolo later in his career with defective knees.

2023 - Eels beat Panthers twice in regular season
2022 - Eels beat Panthers twice in regular season before losing grand final to the best team of the decade
2021- Eels blown out in one game but lose other regular season game by a point. Eels lose 8-6 in a semi final thriller.
Seems in recent years Moses knows how to beat Penrith better than anybody. If a game against the 3peat premiers isn't a big game I don't know what is
