I would think they wouldn't be permitted to name him prior to court. Who knows.

Pretty sure there is a maximum sentence required for stand down by NRL, which is much higher than this. Just a club imposed stand down at this point surely?

My point earlier is that court date is really just a formality. Its not a trial. Hes going to stand up and say yes sir sorry sir, and he'll get the fine and a longer license suspension

Like matt said, the mandatory standown has to be a serious offense (extended jailtime), cant recall the specifics

I have to just go with him. Hopefully the team is not allowed to name him before the court date to get a couple of games. Unless Nicho is worse than we think.
