Ignored him last week, but looking at Ryan Matterson as MID/EDG with good byes

Not that fans opinions count for anything, but Parra fans seem keen on Lane going before Matterson does. He's a decent price. Obviously rotation a risk. Brad Arthur is as bad as Trent Robinson for random minutes amongst his forwards.

Also looking at Luki, but might wait a week there

Samuela Fainu another one in the Bateman replacement stakes - no round 13, but otherwise good byes. Just not sure his scoring will be good enough

I have more interest in Carty to be honest once he drops a little bit more cash.
Matto's DPP is nice, but I expect Carty to get the 2RF starting spot back soon

Christ, that got a bit heavy at the end Embarassed

Also, has anyone else been noticing a lot of JDB fluff pieces in the media this week? Seems almost every newspaper has something about him and his contract. ABC is the only one I've seen mention his court case.

There's just hardly anybody at MID/EDG that looks decent and plays both 13 + 14.
Briton Nikora goes OK, not really any value but you should at least get some reliable scorers for your money

Think I'll end up sacrificing a score in one of those rounds and hope to make it up with better scoring other weeks

If Ciraldo comes.to his senses and brings Preston in for Salmon, then he could look the best of the 13/14 forwards, with the benefit of also playing 16. Lucy also a possible if he comes back next week.

The MID options are sparse though. Basically Matto (with risks) or Ming (which is a bit meh).

Sorensen also on the list assuming he comes back in.

I'm unfortunately a bit stuck this week for an EDG given KPP's benching - would be perfect if SS was back this week. This is why I'm considering DiFi to fill in and hold with Cleary money, and pick up Scott when he gets named.

    I agree, it's slim pickings
I don't really get excited when I look at my current projected teams for rd 13, 16, and 19, it's pretty middle of the road especially if Angus and Hynes get select for SOO

I doubt any Eels fan wouldn't have Matterson playing 80 every week. Carty and Lane both have qualities, but if there's someone I'd like to just have out there all the time, every week, Matto is easily my pick of the three. Doesn't count for nothin', though.

Had Fainu a few weeks now... extremely underwhelming. I know it's included a sin-bin and a shift to CTR in there, but underwhelming is underwhelming.

Yeah, I'm leaning this way too. Would have been nice to do it last week for Piakura/Salmon when I saved a trade instead, but last week I had a fit Bateman and a starting KPP so it didn't seem necessary.
