it must be devastating for edwards to finally reach the pinnacle just for an injury to take that off him

Yeah super unlucky
This is why picking rep players on incumbency/loyalty irks me. There’s no time to wait for these guys, anything can happen and the opportunity is gone. None of the guys who are been there are owed anything for their service. It’s weird to me that as the sport becomes more professional we get more sentimental and less ruthless on this stuff.
In this case the selectors did the right thing and it still hasn’t worked out.
Also glad they still picked Teddy. Would’ve made no sense to completely move on from him, and he’s clearly the 1b fullback option to Edwards 1a

Scoring overall is down this season

Is it? Or are we just worse at Fantasy?
First 12 rounds last year saw 119,083 points scored
First 12 rounds this year saw 119,489 points scored. A slight increase, although doubt its statistically significant
I guess one explanation us that there's just too much variety in who is scoring the points, making it harder to get all the right players in our fantasy teams

Considering a knee jerk piakura to Chester just to scramble 13
Feels dumb though as he offers no bye coverage.
Manu plays 16 and I’m wildly short on WFB’s there. Always a gun final 17 player as well… piakura could get the yeet

If teddy is captained, and you have a WFB on the bench - will he loop in, or is teddy fixed on 0 as captain?

These are the questions you need to answer.
Is Chester someone you want in your team long term, and/or is Piakura someone you definitely want to trade out anyway
In 2 months time, what will be be more valuable to you. The 30-40 points Chester scores this week, or having an extra trade up your sleeve.
Ignoring other considerations, I think the trade is more valuable than trading someone in just to get a score this week.

You'll get an AE for Teddy.

Oof Teddy just went from trade in and captain, to missing 3 of the next 4.

Yeah man you’re not wrong. I’m chasing ranks though and with that same questioning but to manu, the answers yep I would want him in the final team. Offers coverage for 16 which I’m in dire need of anyhow

Yeh that's what I've been looking at here, alot of the walls in here have a weird soft thin foam covering, and temporary bits n pieces.
I had this serious as death row type customs guy go over me, thorough feel up and wand examination, silent and death stare. When he was done I go "Thanks mate, love your work". Entertaining myself.
Maybe he captained Teddy?

Interesting and not expected by me
If you look at top players by position maybe it’s just more variety of scorers, some unexpected players at the top (changing of the guard), plus some element of some positions scoring lower (eg HOK)
But R13 definitely seems to have less high scoring options than last season

Is there a prize for being the first on the forum to run out of our first batch of trades? 7 left after this week, with plans to make at least 3 already next week, I’m killing it this year

Well at least 142 in top 1k traded in and are locked
(As I believe Yafss wouldn’t show something like Walsh to Teddy not captain which could be reversed)
Yep, what a waste of a trade, especially if Teddy is going to play all 3 games. It is what it is though. This season has been such a big Ooof

I expect that most are short of players for R14 already.
Some combination of Weekes, Strange, Crichton, Teddy, Plath, Aitken as well as Hynes likely to miss the round, and some real shittos that they dont want to play like Shoes and Salmon. Hard to bring in Manu.
I am planning to trade out Fuller, hoping that both of Koula and Foran play next week, to get 17 on the park and going to upgrade Hughes. Will assess minutes for Mikaele this week, to see if he may be worth holding, or needs trading out as well.
Probably target Hands and Twal, leaving something crazy like $800k in the bank still after trading out Crichton this week. At least it makes it easy to get Cleary back when fit.

VC Brown, little did I know how much I was sweating with MTB in the Eels game.
Cole 39 comes in. Fortunate to still be able to play 13 but yeah of Teddy plays game 2 as well that's very annoying

Good to see that Fuller went up 5 points overnight.
They fixed the incorrect error for getting outjumped, added the EFIG and fortunately he retained the TS for getting KOd, which is surprising.

708/13C after the bench and VC points are added.
Above my expectations for the round, and will probably end up around OR 150
