DPP updates seem to be based off what fantasy players want

One year Cam Smith got half DPP after playing 2-3 games there.

I expect Talagi to get it purely because he is fantasy relevant

A lot of times they don’t give it - despite us all desperately wanting it.

2nd funniest in recent times was Havili getting DPP MID because he was playing the HYBRID bench role at Souffs and people needing a cashout. literally nobody else ever being given DPP for bench roles. For example, Salmon was a HLF only all 2023

Nothing beats Tauks WFB DPP. Did he ever actually play on the wing?

Just curious why The Broncos have a home game on a Saturday night? I thought their ground was only ever available on a Friday night?

If Talagi is named CTR this week, I need a CTR, maybe I bring him straight back in haha

Yep Simpkin is probably a no go for me as planning to get Fifita which will give me 4 players out rd17 already (Fifita, Wighton, Garrick, Koula)

Oh hmm that is kind of similar, yeah maybe the two red dot WFBs. I might fire a message in to see what they say for future reference.

Look at all you rich boys with your $13m+ teams.
Congrats on good / smart trading, and avoiding the rage trade hole I always fall into.
[Yes, I started with Kiraz & then dumped him after a couple of lowish scores.]

On the question of cash generation, any thoughts on how much coin Strange still has to make?
It's either Strange (on the bye) or Waddell (green dot) as my trade out options.

Garrick was a WFB for almost all of last season who was named at centre in the first game of this one, so absolutely clear-cut DPP there.

Manu actually played more games (6) at 5/8 last year than fullback, so technically probably should have got that DPP instead of the WFB one.

    In short, it's about vibes.

    Where they are aware of it, I do think they take into account some of the talk coming out of the teams;

Talagi has been talked about as the future fullback for the Eels (if they can keep him) and has had some games at fullback now, and is fairly popular in ownership, so I'd expect he gets the DPP.

Bateman and Nikora EDG/CTR will always be one of the great DPP debacles

I don't really need a back this week unless someone's dropped/injured, but think I'll have to grab Wighton. Could be useful in the halves too. Have been waiting to pounce on Tago for a few weeks, but kinda need some Rd 16 numbers. I reckon he'll get a decent enough run in the halves and hopefully average 40+. Averages 45, but a down year last year with 37. Seems low-risk being priced at 28.

I like to balance some high-risk plays with low-risk ones Very Happy

I don't want to get Wighton because I've had him in L1 draft and he's been putrid, but it probably is the sensible play given price, byes, DPP etc.

    It's very simple.

If Wighton is named in the halves, he's an easy buy

If he's named at centre, don't even think about it

    Some might say he's an A-grade winger, a B-grade centre, and a C-grade fullback

I, myself, would not dare to suggest such a thing

I think be should probably playing CTR at Dragons but WG is his best position, and most likely where he gets rep footy.

There are too many good FBs around. He can commiserate with Stephen Crichton and Suaalii about it during Origin camp.

It seems every outside back is an aspiring FB these days.
