I think it stacks up ok. Just consider if you are going to get to rd20 and realise you need a keeper CTR for the run home and have to trade one in when you could have had Garrick there already, and if you'll be ok trades wise for that.

I have manu, iro and Wighton as my centres without Garrick and i plan to keep them all. Would hate to get to round 23 and bringing old mate Reuben back in at a discount haha

I think with those you are okay to trade him.

Looking at mine I have Aitken, Iro, Strange and Talagi still currently. I'm actually thinking Strange could stay all year so I can probably afford to toss Garrick too.

Time and time again we see the argument that a coach wont play a guy as he's moving on next season not actually play out.

Do we really think they wont pick Cook for big minutes if they still think hes their best bet this season.

Also, is Mamozuelos really the guaranteed future 9 for them? Fully disclosure I dont know a heck of a lot about the guy, but watching him play he doesnt set the world on fire and if anything still looks pretty raw. If they are to get the most out of him, I reckon this season is just low minutes as he gets used to first grade

I'm actually really happy with how my team is shaping up at the moment. I just had a play around at how I'm going to get my final 17 and it's not all that difficult.

I've got 7 trades left with the priority of getting in Cleary, Hynes, Ponga, Robson and then the last elite mid hopefully by round 21.

Jeez. Api avg missed tackle last 5 is 7.6 per game. That's like starting every game on -15pts. Imagine what his scores could be if didn't get so many MT

While they can still make the playoffs I'm sure they'd keep rolling with Cook for 80, but in a scenario where they are eliminated with a few weeks to go that is a case where it would make sense to give Mamo some starts or at least more mins off the bench.

1 trade gets me to 13 for the week and leaves me 9 trades moving forward. I really should get rid of Hughes/Salmon but need the money for Hynes or Cleary next week.

I really want to spend it though, I’ll be happy with a pair of 30s from the Dogs boys

I don't need to imagine. He's the only player left from my original team. He's annoying to watch and it's not like they're genuine missed tackles, it's that he runs up into the line and knocks the guy off his line so the others can make an easy tackle.

They're the sort of MT's that aren't just bad luck either. He flies out of the line to slow someone down and then cruises back to the line without getting back on the guy.

9 trades is massive. Is your rank on the climb? With that many you can really make some more inroads the next few weeks. Definitely get 13 on the park the next 3 weeks and you'll still be in a better position than most trade wise, and then have trades to aim for the like of the Hynes/Cleary.

It’s been climbing but to be honest that’s not hard from where I was pre byes. Still outside the top 10k so hoping that can be remedied this week and hopefully next.

That’s the plan from now until 20, get players on the park and get the big guns in.
