I think anyone worried about playing 16-17 with a couple of shittos next week shouldn’t be too worried

I would like to keep a couple extra for 27 incase we see a scenario again like last year but I can't help to think last year might have been an anomaly.

I'd also hate to keep trades specifically for that round and restings turn out to be minimal where the saved trades are no advantage at all.

Yeah, looks like I have at least one short with Patty and potentially more. I’m only looking at final 17 trade ins from here. If someone goes next week it’s for a gun.

Next week I could get Sharpe in for Atkinson just to get an extra number for rd17 and rd19.
Or I could wait a week and see if Kini holds his spot in rd18 with Brimson back, might be worth the risk with the way Kini is scoring. If Kini retains the spot he'll almost be a "must have" right?

Yeah that's why I'm talking about waiting to see what happens when AJ is back. Des is not a stranger to playing players out of position.
Scoring one 80 pointer could be see as an outlier, but scoring three indicates something more promising

584/8c and up 2.5k ranks to just under 6k. Should make up a few more this afternoon. Koro, Tapine, Weekes, Strange and Fainu to come.

Will be playing at least 1 short next week though with Foran JC Fifita Latrell and Haas not playing. 4 trades left, hopefully just need to make all 4 to field a full team in 19. Looking at Tuilagi to Sharpe next week, SHughes to Sipley week after and then TMay+Weekes to Hynes + someone depending on cash available r19.

Traded out Kiraz for Koro this week to get a full team and start building a warchest towards Hynes which may end up being costly but almost 700k for a centre seems pretty toppy.
