I'm a Knights tragic and I would steer clear of all their halves until AOB decides to stop dicking around with combinations and allow 2 of them to develop some game management nous. Look at the various combinations they've run this year already - and even though Gamble copped an injury, that doesn't justify swapping them around so many times.

    Other option is get AFB.

5 players on bye in R20 is not a concern. In the rest of your post you explain why.

Down to 3 trades. I need 1 for round 19 to get 13 so that leaves only 1 trade for injury/dropping

Koula was ok last week but If I don't move him on this week ill hold him until 20.

Koula to Marzhew worthy to move down to 2 trades?

Marzhew playing eels, raiders, DCEless Sea Eagles

    TU: Marzhew
    TD: Koula

Given most are prioritising points over cash generation at this stage I was hoping to get some thoughts around PODs moving into the crunch end of the season.

Can't just have the same team as everyone else.

Thoughts on players like Tago, Turbo, NAS and Nikora? My usual tactic is to start bringing in players from the Top8 likely team.

While we’re in somewhat of the same thoughts process, Marzhew v Tago? Marzhew with Ponga has a slightly better average than Tago with Cleary, but Tago will have, minimum, one extra game. Surely you go with the combo that is likely to play finals footy.

    Nikora isn't a pod. 22% owned top 5k. That's the relevant % not overall %
NAS minutes and scores not screaming buy.
I got Tago instead of Sharpe Rd 15. He is horrible watch. Walking around whole game. I hope Cleary back will improve his scores but feels like dud trade atm.
Turbo I'd want to see play 1 game

There's an argument for both Tago and Marzhew - suspect I'll get both.

Turbo is a high risk moderate reward play, so an easy wait and see where/if he plays.

NAS is a strong no - off to another club is the rumor and not playing fast and healthy to my eye.

Nikora as always a good shout, but with only two edge slots I would want top tier guns in them and he ain't.

Both guys have 1 bye remaining.

Tago bye in Round 19 means I can't consider him. If you are fine for Round 19 then I would definitely go Tago over Marzhew.

I'm pretty sure I am doing Koula to Marzhew. Possibly Sharpe. But either way Koula is gone.

(watch Hopoate go down now and Koula play fullback with Turbo ctr)

The current “plan” is Tago straight in when Cleary is back and hope that hammy is fine for the rest of the season. Tago would also be permanently cemented in position 18.

He’s cheap, scored well last season and plays 19…..but yeah hasn’t really given any indication it might be a good shout.

Watched a few games recently and he’s doing the same stuff with a lower degree of success. Teams not kicking to him as much. Guilty of some hands like feet type stuff as well.

Just had a look, im short a wfb for rnd 19.

Probably either campbell or cobbo for me. If neither available that week then im not sure ill bother. (currently garrick+sharpey)

Tangent but hopefully arthur is only a 'brief taste of FG' kinda mins in the coming weeks. Like 8 mins would be good

I suppose with 5 trades and (currently) 12 for rnd 19, theres an argument to up my numbers this week - 15 if carrigan doesnt play.. but the trade outs are limited..

I’m not sure id switch Koula for either Tago or Marzhew at this stage.

I’ve Taken the stance that playing one short is better than a sideways shitto punt at this stage. If you get several more weeks out of them than sure, but 1 week/30 points is not worth a trade imo. This is the sort of ‘olden days’ move you could pull when byes were straightforward, trades were plentiful & Gerry Harvey rode to the rescue.

Especially relevant with outside backs & 30 min forwards……love the one you’re with

Gun to gun or sub gun to sub gun is a different story.
