Annoying having the Tigers play last, not expecting Benji to retain the winning side from last week.

The important stuff: Do any of you profesionals know if for Jury duty, when u turn up on the Monday and if you were selected for the jury, would your court case then commence the next day being the Tuesday, or another date down the line, like weeks away ?

Maybe….but probably should have got a lawyer and tried to settle rather than go straight to court.
I’m not sure I’d trust any of the May boys with $20 to go and get some bread and milk let alone a large payout. They don’t seem the type to have a think before they do something…..
Oh well, fuck the haters or something

I'm sure he would have approached a lawyer first and would have been guided by his advice. There's not to say, they still couldn't come to a settlement before heading to court depending how the Panthers respond.
I'm 100% sure that none us know shit about dick when it comes to May's situation and this is the problem with people giving their 2 cents on these situations. Details matter and nobody has them.
Look at JDB and now even Hayne.
Trial by public is almost certain to produce the wrong outcome.

The issue with the Panthers was nothing to do with his impending DV case (well not directly anyway & I certainly didn't mention it) but a bunch of other stuff which he willingly posted some of the details of on his own socials. The comments were related to wether or not it was a great idea to take your club to court when you are a 22 year old professional rugby league player.
Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.
Not sure how JDB & Hayne has anything to do with anything....all those examples show is how difficult it is to get a solid conviction/acquittal in a particular type of cases.
Edit : the second Panthers charge did have something to do with his DV case in which case the injunction on sacking him is totally fair enough but the second damages suit may be ill advised (opinion)

In defence of the tin-hat wearing brigade, it isn't the players, it's the officiating.
It doesn't take much to lean the way of one team over another - allow the 10m to become 8m, ignore players racing too early off the line in defence and suddenly we have "what a great Origin tackle". Allow some extra niggle, working over in the ruck and one team is suddenly dominating in the forwards and field position.
I didnt see the original reply to my comment cause i have them blocked, but in no way do i think that the players are in on any sort of conspiracy. Who would put their body on the line like that, that can seriously injure for a game that you walk in knowing you're going to lose, why would you?
However, if you think any ref has absolutely no influence how any game can go thats pretty funny.
Anywho, The Blues were beyond incredible and blew the maroons out the park. Latrell torn them up which was nice to see, Edwards at the back was way more dangerous than Teddy has been the last couple of years. My only critique of them is i still dont understand what they are doing with Jake T?
Oh and Stephen Crichton, I didnt see what the fuss was about when he was at the Panthers but since moving to the Bulldogs and in last nights game he is phenomenal, I understand why the dogs made him captain
You've got MS blocked

The Parramatta Eels can provide the following update on J'maine Hopgood.
After meeting with specialists regarding a lower back injury, it has been decided J'maine will undergo a microdiscectomy.
He will be unavailable for 12 weeks as he recovers from the surgery.

Yep - The Broncos have been dealt a triple blow with Origin stars Payne Haas, Pat Carrigan and Reece Walsh to be rested for Saturday’s clash against the Warriors in Auckland. (Peter Badel)

Why is there a question mark here? Does it say that or are you asking whether it says that?

Butters has had some legal issue over moving house recently and getting his internet setup. His stats site went about a month without being updated, I imagine his personal team struggled too
PS, I know nobody here likes him, but just an advance notice that there is no need to be a dick about his personal issues
Yeah, while I think he has acted like a bit of a dick in the past I think this is sound advice.

I'm not saying I know the situation or care to be honest. Was just commenting on the potential process.

Does Guthos average go up to 60 when Hopgood isn’t playing?

Yeah, pretty sure he takes over all of Hopgood's general play kicking but the offloads go to Carty
