What would be the best robust team for people needing to change their strategy next year?

    BBrailey/cook ?
    McInnis JDB Yeo
    Butcher Smithies
    DCE Hunt
    aitken...
    Outside backs are pretty plastic

Very happy I traded him back in last week. I'll also be holding him and latrell and JMK this week. Just wait one more week to reassess,  not because I have no trades (I have zero trades)

Smart move, you don't want to rush into trades, got to make sure you get it right

I think sell either way. Left foot injury might impact GK and KM on return?

At least with Hynes out I get to decide who is going to take his place in my team.
Is it going to be Jack Wighton or Brendan Hands?

Hynes to Cleary in round 20 could be on the cards

So much for 'planning'. After 3 trades I field 10 this week (if that, after TLT). lol.

Still. in come a couple of keepers in Aitken and Cook, along with Gray who I think might kick on.

Next week, straight swap, Manu to Cleary then ride home all the good luck we're owed. Smile

This week my bench is 100% Storm and Roosters.

Had been intending to boot Wishart and Terrell this week, but just can't.

    Should, but can't.

    Should.

    Hmmmmm.....

Nico is lovely. Hope he's got an awesome support network around him right now.

    Article

NRL star Nicho Hynes has talked down a person from committing suicide at a well-known bridge on the NSW south coast.

On Monday morning, 2GB sports presenter Spiro Christopoulos told listeners that Hynes stopped a suicidal person from jumping off the Sea Cliff Bridge near Wollongong, about an hour's drive south of Sydney.

Christopoulos said that he sent a text message to the 2022 Dally M Medallist to check if the story was accurate and received the reply: 'Yeah, mate. It happened. Crazy stuff.'

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Hynes' club, the Cronulla Sharks, for more information.

The talented halfback is known for his work in mental health, having spoken about his own challenges in the past and launching Cronulla's inaugural Mental Fitness Round earlier this year.

'I've been a big advocate over the last few years with my story and speaking about mental health, I've spoken so much about it out loud, so I need to follow through with it,' he said in May.

'I felt like if I'm going to be someone who is an advocate for it and who speaks up, then I have to do something about it.

Rugby league officials and commentators have never been worse

    Counter argument - this:

Probably my favourite 5 mins of footy ever as a kid.

It’s reminding me of that time I held Vailea all season because was always just around the corner from price rises (that never happened) and too cheap to sell

Sean Russell been the same for me, although has given a few handy 20s when called on

I had a look at him once Hynes went off injured. Doesn't seem to have the ceiling for a final 17 player and too late for cows. Through to the keeper for me

Can we get some shit posting till teams are announced. It's not like people have trades and no one is fielding 17 so let's make the most of it.

I've got heaps of trades and I'm fielding 17.5 this week despite only needing 13.....I've been deliberately sabotaging my team this whole season so I can lord it over everyone for the one round when a significant number of people have run out of trades cheer

I can't even figure out how to use them as everyone worth buying is on a bye, injured or playing SOO......guess I'll just keep them in the bank for next season.

30 year ago Rabs and Sterling are great. Vautin was there for comedy but I think there was a good reason he ended up exclusive to Footy Show

i like how Rabs was more annoyed by "Wollongong Ocean" than the missed trip, missed two knock ons, missed missed goal kick. It was a simpler time where to err was human, even really badly. Now to err is a bunker.

Legit think the on-field refs are 1000% better than back then though.
