Already have a cast of thousands at CTR with Kiraz, Wighton, Iro, Garrick & Strange, all doing a reasonable job so I think it's a position I can compromise on getting 'the best', although MCK is interesting as a cash down
I'll probably keep my powder dry this week and pick up a tier 1 WFB in the next couple.

I think Fermor could be a good "budget" alternative to Aitken.
$120k cheaper and not without it's risks, but he will have played 5 games at Centre this week (and presumably he's there ahead of an "actual" CTR in HSS), so a good chance of getting CTR dual you'd think.
He had a slow start to the year returning from ACL, but if he returns to edge he's capable of being in the Aitken ballpark (50-55 average?) and no byes either.
In his last full year (2022), he averaged 59.2 over his last 10 games, so he has the potential to go on an end-of-season run.

If he got the DPP I'd definitely give it serious consideration.
Whats the story with HSS I wonder? Last game I saw him play he suffered some sort of season ender (which may or may not have subsequently been diagnosed as less serious?)
EDIT : yeah, HSS suspected pec rupture in RD 10 with later diagnosis of 6-8 weeks

Koroisau vs Cook
Utoikamanu vs Fainu
Carty vs Nikora
Wighton vs DBrown
Marrzhew vs Sharpe
