Had Aitken as my trade in all week but got the heebie jeebies at the last minute (mainly due to his price) and went with Gray as a cash down instead.

Got back from football last night and watched the game on delay....poor bastard, I think he's out of contract as well. He'll get another one for sure but negotiating position may not be as strong.

VC Plath not keen on a scamper from dummy half it seems...hopefully Big Davey is in bubble wrap before tonights game

Missed a bullet there, with Gray being the better choice this week. VC Plath isn't the worst.
Plath did get close to the line with a dart from dummy half, I'm not too concerned about his scoring at HOK yet, and don't really have the trades to move him on.

For me it's a nervous wait having VC Aitken, just need captain Fifita to do well tomorrow.

Yeah I have VC Aitken too, but nailed my captaincy pick with Koloamatangi. I traded Hopgood to him in R15 with literally 10 mins to go before lockout (Hopgood got cut from 24h teams 10 mins before Koloa locked out), and it's paid off big time.

I reversed my Nicho to JC trade after Aitken's injury and switched to Garrick as my centre for the run home. Plan is Aitken, Trell and S Hughes to a gun HLF (Cleary or DCE), gun EDG (EKat) and whoever else I can get (ideally WFB or HLF but can be anywhere really)

If he comes back soon you'd think he takes MCK spot and either Murray or Koloa on other edge.
Calf injury and that’s correct only about half our injuries are listed in the casualty ward

Happy with Wighton, has been a good pick-up, especially now he's got the bulk of the kick meters. He'll be good cover for the CTR position now Aitken is gone

Yeah he's been so good in the middle. I think there's a high chance he moves back to edge next week or the week after, but he should still score decently enough there (high 40s to low 50s)

Yeah agree, feels like a safe CTR with his base. Will be an awkward 530k pickup next week, although a likely candidate for masses trading out Aitken. In saying that, Aitken being 700k will mean he's a stepping stone to basically anyone.. Cleary back next week stocks just went up

My third trade in this week was between Wighton and Gray. I went Wighton which is handy now with the centre cover. Also still have Strange and Talagi which means Aitken come become Cleary or Haas next week. Should have gotten both but can't complain with a Wighton trade in. Cook trade in worked out in the end too.

He did well to get through 80 min, maybe the Aitken injury derailed any plans to rest him.

Not sure about that...he was standing pretty wide. Looked like he was on Aitken's edge for the last 20 to me which pushed one of the larger specimens into the middle.
