It's that time of year to start thinking about looping strategy going forward and the idea of doing something a bit different.
I (if I had enough green dots) would be looping a high owned player in the first game.
Means you aren't picking between 35 points and 40 points, rather mitigating risk of say Galvin getting injured early and scoring 5 and taking advantage of being able to switch someone in while 80% of teams you are jostling with for position have to wear a low score.
Low risk, low chance, but high reward if anything does happen and this season anything is possible.

Newcastle’s chances of a top eight finish have been rocked with fears NSW star Bradman Best may not play again this season.
Best limped from the field during Newcastle’s loss to Brisbane last Saturday with the centre again plagued by a hamstring complaint.
The injury will sideline him for at least a month but given his ongoing problems the Knights are expected to take a conservative approach with the 22-year-old. If the Knights fall out of finals contention by the time Best is fit, they may not risk him even taking to the field this year.

Obvious hindsight comment from fans with no medical knowledge or experience - why risk him backing up from Origin
Less obvious question - at what point do clubs push back against Origin derailing their seasons? Much easier to kill City/Country and international footy than NSW v Qld, but it's something that must have come up in back room conversations...

Conspiracy theory: Cleary wasn't injured, just him and his Dad prioritising club over state.

Munster in the wider squad so will have to wait before for a few days before knowing if Wishart is a sell., Thankfully they play second.

Matto at lock will hopefully go ok, not many big minute men available for them at the moment.

I don't think that this is even a conspiracy anymore.

Matto at lock, Api back.
Two forced tradeouts last week given no green dots... seeing these two hurts.
Lussick back on the bench for the Eels also... Hopefully as a lock forward to sub Matto.. hah!

Dylan Walker looks to have locked up 80 at lock as well, especially with that bench for the Wahs.

NRL complicit, prioritising Panthers four-peat. Recognised NSW could beat Qld with second string halfback.
