I have 7 and would like to use 2 max this week and have terrible MID cover so looking for reason to hold at least another weekAardvark wrote:
Could be but I'm not hanging around for a couple of weeks of 30's to find out. If trades are tight he's probably a wait and see but anything over 6 and I think he's worth a trade (I've gone him to Brown for HLF cover)

Yeah, might be prudent to hold. I'm wavering on a Fainu to Curran trade which would leave me with 5...6 trades looks better but Curran looks better in spot 17.

A good option, just not sure I'm keen on relying on him continuing to average 1.5 tries per game. Am warming to the idea though.

To get Cleary and Yeo I can either trade
Plath and weekes or
Mitchell and KPP/Fainu/Smithies
If Mitchell is back Rd23 is he a hold?

If still holding and confirmed back to play last 5 games that's a massive PODDaveboy wrote:

Confirmed? Or just from the fox article that basically said "Wayne likes Bateman so he'll probably go to Souths"

Been away for a bit - travelling and general post-Origin misery.
Ah well. On the plus side this week the team looks a little better than it did last
Plath, Moale, Iro, Fainu going out.
Cleary, Yeo, Teddy, Walsh coming in.
Could have left too much cash on the sidelines for a while. Possibly.

OUT:
Sharpe
Bateman
IN:
Savage
Starling
Leaves me with three trades and some cash to upgrade next week if I have to.
CONS:
Holding Fa'alogo. If Storm players include Papenhuyzen then he could be a good option that week assuming he's not also rested. Still a green dot so could come into play if Paps goes down again.
Holding Brailey. Honestly probably gets traded next week but I can get 17/18 on the park this week so no need to rush a trade in.
Holding Manu. Can't afford to trade out a 50ish averaging player who'll play majority of the remaining rounds. Have to survive playing Savage/Fa'alogo until he's back.
Just feel I cannot afford to trade green dots. Don't care if they lose money in the meantime, there's a chance they could each come back to good scoring (Brailey promoted to starting/Crossland injured, Fa'alogo covering both FB and WG for Storm)

Basically set on my trades
Sharpe/Yeo
Plath/Brown
and will do Wishart/Ponga if Munster is in and play Gray this week. Will make that trade next week if Wishart is not in the 17 but can't afford Ponga if he gets a low score off the bench.

Not 100% but not from FOX either. I wouldn't bet on him being back at the Tigers

Tin foil hat on - If Reyno looks like turning the Broncos ship around for a finals run, the Storm would like to keep the option open to halt that in Round 27 rather than deeper in September.
