I'm down to Clark as only MID cover so I'd rather wait a week on Haas or Yeo and hope Plath scoring improves and with luck goes back to lock soonChewie wrote:I'm holding Plath, he won't be in my 17 for the time being, but I hope he gets shifted back to Lock for the last few games of the season

So who do we think for last bench spot ?
McLean
Sam Fainu
Or do you start McLean over Kiraz or Garlick and then one of Kariz or Garlick miss out (both have a harder match up than McLean.

Team is:
Grant
Haas Yeo Watson
Fifita Koloa
Cleary Galvin
Wighton Iro
Wishart Kiraz Garrick
May Plath Curran Matto
Manu Starling Sipley Gray
----
5 trades 210k left - already have Wishart to Ponga locked in next week - going to loop him and Gray this week with Manu
looking at trading out Plath - been a done trade in a couple of weeks ago
My original thought was Brown and using the extra money to upgrade Sipley - but thinking probably better off saving a trade and keeping 3 for the run home.
So I can do anyone under 800k
Crichton - original thought - but with May, Watson and Manu already leaves me with only 17 green dots for R23
Cook - already have a gun hooker and risk of playing centre - but that didn't matter last week and he did kick 7 goals - though is Latrell coming back and taking kicking off him?
Fogarty - kick metres galore
or the Brown pick

Is burning my last four trades this week to increase my chances of beating SEED #3 Rob El Gordo in the Eliminator from position #62 classified as 'good team management?

Is it silly to pickup McInnes now, this late in the season?

So worth it! How else will you stand a chance against the Lord of the Byes?

Yeah, Crangus is definitely a luxury trade for you in the last few Rounds, would be insane with that team make up now. But by then you risk him being rested maybe too (small chance, but possible).
Nice depth looking at your 18-21 if you do run out of trades early though.

I’ve gone Plath purely because he was the most expensivemy tv broke wrote:who to punt for cleary is a bit annoying, should probably figure that out. i have a few guys around 500k that are iffy.. lemu, fainu, plath, strange, marzhew..

I'd be trading Plath or Strange of those mentioned.
But of your list, Plath is the only one who has had a role change recently that negatively impacts his fantasy scoring.

I'm probably only making 1 and fielding a team that seems a bit weak against others around here.
So if you make 4, you might have a chance.

I dont mind the idea that Plath ups his involvement a bit more from DH with a couple of weeks now under his belt.. but i get why people punt him. probably slim chance it happens.
I think its Strange or Lemu. Maybe lemu offers a bit more consistency. With Fog back Strange might be more of a back seat (or a lower floor, but higher ceiling if raiders are going good)...
All things going to plan, Gray to Ponga next week.

If you have 3 other CTRs, would punt Strange. Lemu seems like a consistent guy for 18/19, similar to how I'm viewing Fainu now.

If I punt strange, it leaves me with marzhew as my only 'coverage' for ctr/wfb (i have garrick/kiraz who can float between).. feels like it will come back to bite, but lemu definitely more consistent for 35-45 scores
could just spent an extra trade and get our lord and saviour, for plath
