Sorry mate but it does indeed appear that The Charge cannot be discharged this year.

I for one welcome our new Fantasy Overlord.

What are the odds on sportsbet for the ET vs B/L match-up?

I only use TAB mate but they are both normally in the ball park:

Straight out B/L is paying $1.01
The Line is 80 points (which I think is generous) at $1.10
They aren't even listing the other teams name anymore, literally "other runner" now so they've clearly given up on The Charge being halted.
They've even gone to the extraordinary lengths of opening up a Round 28 market for B/L to win.

Wayne interested in bringing Josh Schuster to Souths. If anyone can help him reach his potential it’s Wayne.

It seems that having 8 Bronco's in my squad is my undoing...

or maybe it's that the Charge is more akin to a Tsunami and I, like those fallen before me, will just be discarded flotsam in the wake of B/L

You'll sign him for $800k a season for 5 years and you'll like him!

    Good signing

$1m cashout from Manly, then come back in the right headspace on say 200k with a point to prove and much lower expectations. He'll go ok. He's a good footy player, in terms of skills. With the lock role reverting back to more a ballplaying skillset for many teams, and not just merely a 3rd prop, seems like a natural fit if he's prepared to do the defensive work too.

Tigers have signed Jeral Skelton in their never-ending quest to sign every reserve grade winger there is (although think his future is in the forwards)

Talagi officially moving to Panthers. Could he spend the next 3 years as a NSW Cup player and Origin/injury fill-in?

If it's any consolation, I'm going to put a tenner on "other runner" this week at 400/1. In a 2 horse race that is extraordinary Odds.

Thought I’d successfully surfed it last week only for a Great White Sharpe to appear through the barrel, bite my leg off and bleed me out.

As a Tigers fan I don't mind the Skelton news. We've lost a couple of our bigger outside backs and need early set metres.

Oh wow when I wrote up you lost by only 8 never clicked that it took 4 tries by a player everyone expected to be a red dot going forward to do it. The charge works in cruel and mysterious ways

    Bula season over.

Tigers fullback Jahream Bula’s season seems all but over after the young star was sent for shoulder surgery on Thursday.

The 22-year-old was seen grabbing his shoulder last Sunday against the Knights, and now this masthead can exclusively reveal damage was done to the fullback’s arthroscopic labral.

The recovery time for this injury can take up to three months, and Bula is expected in a sling for the next six weeks.

Benji Marshall is most likely to turn to rookie Heath Mason to fill their vacant no.1 jersey, with Adam Doueihi also an option.

      Current date/time is Fri Sep 20, 2024 5:35 pm
